    I totally agree with the Chinese people best compliment to dessert is “it’s not too sweet”.
    Just 2days ago, my husband brought home a tart saying that his client insisted that I try it. After I tasted it; I told him “hmm I like it, it’s not too sweet.” He replied “yeah that’s what my client commented as well “your wife gotten try this! It’s not too sweet!” (Indicating that it’s good).
    After which husband actually said “i don’t really like it, I think it’s too sweet.” 🤣🤣🤣
    There you go; three prefect examples right there.

    Fun fact:
    Contrary to popular belief the seeds of hot peppers actually don't contain capsaicin, the compound that makes peppers spicy. With that being said the reason why the seeds are usually hot are because they're primarily attached and to the placenta/pith which is one the hottest parts of the pepper thus allowing the seeds to come in contact with the heat making them "hot".

    Jalapeno is my favorite. Habanero is actually spicier Scoville wise than Jalapeno.... so saying "if you can't handle Habanero don't get this" kinda doesn't make sense. I absolutely love Jalapeno seeds and all. I probably can't handle Habanero. Also chewy meat is overcooked meat. Meat should never be chewy. That means its "tough" and not good. Good meat falls apart aka you can pull it apart with chopstix without the need for fork/knife.
    Finally found a legit asian place near me. And everything is authentic chinese food. Not sure if north/south or whatever, but they are amazing. And they only do sit in or carry out, no delivery. And its so good. I had some chicken chow fun and the noodles were so chewy and yummy. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. The bean sprouts and scalions. It was just epic. It was so good I couldn't stop eating. I can't wait to try some more things from them.

    People not from Houston don't understand just how big the Asiantown is here. Sure, some cities have a Chinatown, a few blocks, some restaurants, and maybe a grocery store, but if you consider the one in your city a "Chinatown", then the one in Houston is a Chinauniverse. Miles and Miles and Miles of different Asian businesses.

    Next time you eat at crawfish cafe, try their “coco loco” flavor, extra spicy 🌶, they put actual habanero chili and it’s 💣.

    Is there any meat in the claws? Especially those big ones.?

    • @QueenofmyKings
      @QueenofmyKings 2 роки тому

      Usually there is, but it is so hard to get to that you do so much damage to the meat that it's not worth it. 😊

    Wow, such amazing claws and you just throw them away, the best meat is in the claws of a crayfish! Other than that, always a pleasure seeing you eat food.

    In the news I keep hearing about covid protocols being neglected in Texas. It was nice to see that the server was wearing a mask

    I love me some Viet-Cajun fusion. I live here in Southeast Texas (Port Arthur) and there's some amazing blends of seafood that happens. If you're ever closer to Beaumont, Texas, try a place called Sweet Basil.
