    Hate to disappoint you, but what you mention around the 2 min mark is a scam by real estate agencies here. I used to work for one long ago. Basically they run fake ads for great, cheap apartments. When you call, they say they just rented the place out, but have a similar apartment, just a bit more pricey :-/ It's like catfishing, but with rentals.

    I just found your channel, and am glad to know that there is another American out there who is pro-Serb. I have not yet had the opportunity to visit the area, but I have tremendous respect for Serbs. I hope to be able to travel to Serbia and Republika Srpska soon.
    Serbs were our allies in WW2 and saved the lives of many, many Americans from the Germans. Sadly, our politicians turned their backs on the Serbs and sold them out to Islam. But many Americans are waking up to the wrong our politicians have done to Serbia (and others).
    May God bless you for your work, sir.
    Косово је Србија!

    I just moved to Serbia a couple of weeks ago and 2 months before secured an apartment in Novi Banovci. A older large apartment (bottom floor of a house) with garage big enough for car, motorcycle and tools. Water and internet included.
    120€/mo. plus electric.

    300 euros for that house is peanuts for my view. Would be around 600-800 euros in Finland

    • @IvanaHonda
      @IvanaHonda 7 років тому +2

      tegiloch but in Novi Sad it is high priced for what it is. Rent in Serbia is of course lower than in countries with higher standard.

    • @tegiloch
      @tegiloch 7 років тому

      yeah i understand that. by the way what do you think is reasonable rent for that apartment?

    • @IvanaHonda
      @IvanaHonda 7 років тому +2

      tegiloch it is in center Novi Sad so for me 230 is max price for apartment like that (nothing lux and one bedroom)

    • @Tikv-ht5bx
      @Tikv-ht5bx 7 років тому +2

      200e MAX for Novi Sad.. Its silly to compare finland and serbia, standards are not even close. Except when it comes to drinking ;)

      Big question is how much would it cost to move the apartment from Serbia to Finland in order to get that 600€-800€.

  • @Gmod2012lo1
    @Gmod2012lo1 7 років тому +1

    Too much.. this is too expensive.. in kragujevac, theres a brand new so called "smart bulding" with floor heating, huge-fancy doors n' shit, less than 10 mins from the center (36square meters) and its 290€+bills..

  • @Cazman1989

    In Belgrade for the same type of apartment it would cost you less then 300€

    Charles any thoughts on the improving relations between Turkey and Serbia? I think lots of good things could happen through this partnership/alliance against the EU

    • @MarcoAlba1
      @MarcoAlba1 7 років тому +1

      Indeed, it's good for both countries. Serbia needs investments while Turkey needs Serbia as it's the gate to EU in terms of trade, plus a possible gas pipeline.

    • @miskostankovic2497
      @miskostankovic2497 7 років тому

      That is thrue, i hope you get out of NATO and with Russians you protect my contry and your investments, and your product that goes to eu from Serbia. But westwrn leaders dont like that.

      But you probably gave deposit? Its same in Austria, you can have a big two flor house with garden for 350euros a month BUT you must have a deposit of at least 50k euros, and this is a small town, in Vienna you can rent a 25m2 studio for minimum 600e plus bills
