You're extremely lucky not only to have a loving Mom, one that plays games, and plays a game you enjoy is pretty precious. I've become estranged from my Mother and my fathers passed, neither of them were really gamers but what memories remain of my mom being pleasant involved her leaning into my passions like WoW, or even something like a widdling kit. Think it's something that as a father I want to try and get involved with my kids in early on so it's not weird for them to ask me to play games with them. I didn't ever really ask my dad to play something with me, and that hurts me because I know he would've, take advantage of every second you have with anyone your treasure in your life, but consider yourself especially lucky it's your mom.
