The entire kenyan plus ugandan nation was banking on you with those chapatis hehee😅😂😂and you didn't dissapoint coz wueeh chapati chronicles and vitu kwa ground can be different but kudos you made us proud lol😅🇰🇪🇰🇪
We are Indians and our cuisine is somewhat similar to some Kenyan dishes. Chapattis, biryani, sambusa, pakora, bajjias. I guess Indians settled in Africa introduced Indian cuisine to the continent.
You're right, all these cuisines that are Indian like were introduced to Kenya and Africa at large by Indians who settled in Africa,we even have a Kenyan tribe called Indians who originated from India and settled in Kenya in 1800s
You have fitted to this family so well. Atti's parents are humble and loving. They haves welcomed you very well. More blessings our girl 🙏🙏🙏❤. You have tried on the chapatis.👌
Am Kenyan and I have study the heart of Liz and I have seen that Liz has good heart the way she handles and treat inlaws. Wow! You are wife material . May God bless you with all your inlaws' family.
Liz you are such an amazing daughter in law.remember what God says about a child who takes care of the parents.you are blessed my dear lots of love from home 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Liz you are born to be part of the family your mother likes to cook and you also like cooking . perfect fit to the family I've never eaten chapati I'm South African but Itry it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I cook approximately 100 chapatis every day for customers. There is something I have learnt that of sprinkling flour after applying oil.... otherwise I love your attitude, how you interact with your in -loves.... your challenging us girl....
I never had it before. By the way, when I mix flour to make dumplings here in Jamaica, I slowly add water to the flour while I am kneading the flour. This was a good cultural exchange.
We have a similar food which we call roti. It could be made with ground split peas and mixed in with the dough or just plain like you did it.We don’t use sugar either. This roti is eaten with any curried meat or fish. Goat, beef, chicken, shrimp, lamby (conch) with either chicken peas or Irish potatoes.
Good job Liz sharing your cultural heritage with your in laws who are from a much different culture. I am from the Caribbean and we have roti and buss- up shot which is similar. It's eaten with curried meat , chicken, beef or shrimp and vegetables. Enjoy!!
Wow Liz the chapatis turned out so soft, layered and I bet are delicious. 🤭 They liked them. 😊 Anya rolled it so well for her first time. 🤗 I'll prepare them this weekend. 😋
I have never eaten chapati but I would like to try it. I live very very far away from Kenya but I am loving the chapati and omena and ogali from a distance. 😋 ❤

This is my second comment. Respect your in-laws by calling their mum and dad. Second of all respect your husband. I’m sure there is a lot of people who would like to have him as a husband so don’t take him for granted. You’re one of the lucky ones that came out of Africa.
I make mine with butter and milk, I melt the butter into the milk, let it cool and while it’s slightly warm add to the flour to make a dough, and roll out. So I am a queen , well i already new that.😊

We are Indians and our cuisine is somewhat similar to some Kenyan dishes. Chapattis, biryani, sambusa, pakora, bajjias. I guess Indians settled in Africa introduced Indian cuisine to the continent.
Yes because Indians migrated to East Africa and brought their food with them.
Indians are interested in Kenya, during religious studies in school Indians went for Gujarati....it's that integrated.
True
You're right, all these cuisines that are Indian like were introduced to Kenya and Africa at large by Indians who settled in Africa,we even have a Kenyan tribe called Indians who originated from India and settled in Kenya in 1800s
