I so miss this show. What set Rosie apart back then was that she had guests on her show that she truly wanted to talk to, not just people promoting something. You can tell the genuine feel of the show, THIS was one of the best moments in the entire run of the show. In it's final season or so, it became just another talk show with everyone promoting their new show or movie and then off the show went. Thanks for posting.
Oh my lord, this brings back so many memories for me. I had Donny on my wall also, and I used to cut all my dolls hair too. When he started to sing, he sounded so good I started crying. I'm turning 60 tomorrow and this video takes me back. Thanks Rosie for bringing back my feelings from the past and thank goodness for UA-cam. March of 2021💜❤️💜
Donny is of the age when it was just fine for men to call women fat, no matter what the men looked like. I'm glad those days are gone. People should be kinder to each other.
The part where Donny sings @ 13:11 "someone help me... hey, help me" when he couldn't keep himself and Rosie up as they weighed too much Hahaha was so hilarious! Thanks for posting this.
Did Donny really make that horrible weight joke? Terrible... But I love that Rosie was able to display forgiveness and Donny allowed himself to be humiliated. In 2021, he would be instantly cancelled and banished.
I recall when Donny & Marie had thier variety hour in the 70s I was only 10(1975) I fell madly in love with Marie ♥ & my younger sister was in love with Donny. I was heartbroken when the show was cancelled but so happy & excited to hear when a new show was coming back with them 🤩
I think this is the Marie Osmond at her most beautiful and natural that I remember her. Her face has changed and it's probably due to plastic surgeries and whatever else she had done. Her features were perfect, why change?
I really miss Rosie’s show, I was lucky enough to see Rosie O’Donnell live when she opened up for Cyndi Lauper on her True Colors concert Tour 2008 (I’ve been lucky enough to have seen Cyndi Lauper on 5 different tours) and Rosie was incredible. Yes, she did her comedy, but she also told this story that had everybody in the audience crying including herself. It was so emotional. Also, this is amazing what she made Donny Osmond do and I love how Marie Osmond did not even support her own brother neither would I lol 😅
Why would Donny think that Rosie was being sarcastic in the first place and then make fun of her weight? She obviously adored him. This was a very funny show though and Marie and Rosie played off of each other well.
My checks are sore from laughing 😂😂😂 11 years ago I when I was seven I was introduced to Donny and Marie and the rest of the osmonds by my dad and when I was little I did understand that the top of the pops I was watching were re runs so I thought me and Donny were similar in age and I will be honest I had a puppy love for Donny and I have be so jealous of Marie’s voice and looks for years
I got so mad at him for that. You've no idea. I was a ffg (former fat girl )at the time losing 125 pounds during summer before and during senior year 96.
Thanks for uploading these. Do you by any chance have anything from the July 29, 1996 episode? (Season 1, Episode 36) I have been looking everywhere for it.
Be careful, it's not her putting things in her mouth people should be worried about, she's abundantly capable of doing that, from her foot to a dozen pizzas, that's what she means when she says she doesn't discriminate, as for the foulness that eninates from her very existence, the observation Donnie made was him being kind.

Idk I did like the superkid segments she did in her later seasons.
When Rosie was great...she was FANTASTIC!
There has never been a show in daytime like Rosie where each day, week or month you never wanted to miss it! She was better than Ellen.
She was never asked to be on Ellen. Not once in 20 years.

I remember this vividly--this is *definitely* what brought Donny & Marie back in the 90s :)
I have always loved Marie's sense of humour because she has a subtle, unexpected, dark edge.
This is prob one of the best. Love them all. I miss this show.
Rosie's show was so great and so much fun!
Donny Osmond’s original costume for the Masked Singer. 😂❤ He is still so handsome. Marie is still pretty. They are still so funny. Thank you Rosie.

I can’t believe donny said that but the banter between them is everything 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Q
It could’ve been a scripted bit they created. It could all be for show.
This was one of the best shows ever
I liked how she had such a good relationship with her bandleader John McDaniel.

Today is the 25th anniversary of this episode.
Loved Marie’s song “Paper Roses” from 1973
What a fabulous show!
So funny!
Love all of them!
Wish she would have another show this one!
Donny: (to Marie) I appreciate your support in this, too. It's very kind of you. LOL
This is hilarious and Marie is living here lmao 🤣

Well she certainly has stayed thin
He is such a good sport!!

Absolutely hilarious! Rosie played that so well! 😊💜👍
The dolls are gorgeous.
I’m a Donny Osmond fan, but he was a complete idiot for belittling her like that. Rosie handled all of this beautifully.
I was surprised he said that
Thanks John Flanagan ! You made me smile,
I will always remember Rosie as Terk from Tarzan (1999)
Love Marie’s laugh
Girl Power: Rosie and Marie

Donny and Marie looked so handsome and gorgeous. Such a funny show and the audience had a good time going along with it.

Thank you I didn’t even notice I’m dyslexic

I miss Rosie s TV show and love Donny and Jay and nice to see his sister Marie on there !

And they’re still alive and together ❤
happy 65th birthday donald clark osmond !!!!
it looked like a joke, we all know his smiley when joking, but good they milked it, so much fun! good people!
This was Wild!😅
Never watched Rosie's show, but she is so funny
I love Rosie ❤️ 😍 💖
Rosie & Susan Boyle have one thing in common, Donny Crushes. Susan had a cover quilt on her bed with big picture of him.
Loved rosie
this is sooooooooooooooo funny !!!!!!❣❣❣❣❣
Aww when Rosie was funny
I think simple plan will make rosie o'donnell feel better
5:52 I’m dead
Rosie used to be so funny and friendly! So different from today! 🙁
Is Rosie wearing her doll's outfit?
minus red pants, yes I think she is
Viva Rosie!
Is Rosie the Queen of nice LOL 😆 She's a great comedian
@2:57 LOL 😅
the face @5:33 like Rosie just stripped her bare
Donny osmond with a head
Not a fan of Rosie but she could b funny. Love Donny & Marie.
The precious mormons.
Why you gotta bring their religion in back off
I remember the episode when he made the fat joke. I've honestly never liked him since. True colours.
Is marie wearing...that skirt is really short...not funny for her to imply donny makes fun of people
This was all a set up. Rosie probably told Donny to make the comment and it just went from there.
Donny is simply an offensive person, always has been, always will be.
This is the one and only time Marie Osmond has been likable.
Be careful, it's not her putting things in her mouth people should be worried about, she's abundantly capable of doing that, from her foot to a dozen pizzas, that's what she means when she says she doesn't discriminate, as for the foulness that eninates from her very existence, the observation Donnie made was him being kind.
What?!!
Yikes. Yeah okay. Whatever.
Jealous! Plain and simple!
