Can someone tell me why Lewis was booed?
I know right it's ridiculous
it was a common occurrence in those years, I don't think it's something personal against hamilton, but simply that people didn't enjoy the absurd dominance of mercedes in those days. In 2021 there was less booing towards hamilton, especially because at last we saw a hamilton fighting for the title and not one who was served victories on a silver platter.

It’s no great conspiracy. Mercedes was dominating so many years it was Lewis turn to be booed. Just like Max is getting booed often through the third championship last year. Shoemacher got booed too when he dominated. Yes it’s dumb. But I don’t think it fazes them much. What makes me chuckle is how five years ago Max looks like he just won his karting championship. Look at the lines in his face today. This sport ages people. We were all happy at home that Kimi broke his duck here. Great drive after a long drought.
