As someone who had to start eating vegan right before Thanksgiving due to stomach issues, I APPRECIATE YOU. Now I won’t be sad and hungry during Christmas
What a fabulous comment about the quality of Rose's content...she got to you...she's amazing...hope you make that change...your heart will love you in more ways than one.
I like a free form “loaf”. You get way better texture and color. It especially if it’s glazed. It browns great. Cannot wait to try this. I think I want gravy and glaze.Definitely thinking this would be fantastic in puff pastry also.
Another Christmas idea: I made falafel but with poultry spices, onions, and garlic. Tasted great with a red wine gravy, made with stock made from scraps.
Usually when adding flax seeds for binding you make it into a paste first (‘flax egg’) by mixing 1 TB and 2.5 TB of water. ☺️ Glad it looks like overall your beautiful creation turned out just fine though!
Always so excited when you create a recipe and I have everything handy without needing to go buy it. This looks so so good. Can't wait for the rest of the videos because everything looked amazing.
This looks Yummo! you can make a quick glaze with a bit of maple syrup, a tsp. of miso, a & touch of vegan butter warmed in the microwave! Love your channel!
My mum made a really nice vegetarian main for the Christmas dinner for me, it's not vegan but it can easily be adapted I believe - it's a parsnip roulade
I wish she had a cook book. I am not good w/ on line stuff. Her food always looks so great. I go to the grocery store can’t remember half the stuff she uses. Then I cannot remember her steps to make my food. An old school book would be great.
ROSE!! You amazing gorgeous creature!! i ADORE the way you cook, like nothing phases you, EVER! You have a charming "she'll be right mate" attitude which is very Australian by the way. Also, hope u realise we might never want to see you in anything else from now on, cos that glorious red hair with that red satin slip dress is SOOO beautiful & totally festive on you, i actually shouted Nooooo when i saw u in different clothes at the end. Love the roast! Love you! Love the show! Just never change, mate!
Sunday roast in the uk isn’t the same as a meat loaf, it’s usually roast beef or chicken basically. Closer to meat loaf is like a wellington I’d say but is wrapped in pastry, which most places will make a veggie version of that for vegan option on a Sunday lunch.
u blow all lights with this video :) supper funny and yummie ^_ ^ have a nice day. I discovered smoothie with banana, soy beans boiled , nuts and protein shake coconutt one . ma lord H...
i got a little mini plug in one for $15 and its a rocket! (supposed to be an onion chopper but i've tried everything in it, nuts, carrots, onions, coffee beans, flax seeds, tomatoes for pico, does them all just like Rose's machine did, just in a wee bit smaller batches!)
They call it a roast, because it’s roasts in the oven 🙃 I make a nut roast/loaf every year, the only thing I change is what nuts I use. I’ve even gotten meat eating friends hooked on it 😋 but I’m also picky with nut roasts too, this one looks too fancy 😅🙂
@@catrionagarde4410 1.5 cups ground nuts 1.5 cups cooked millet/bread crumbs 1 grated apple 2 tsp dried oregano 2 flax eggs 3/4 cup veggie bouillon 1/2 tsp ground pepper 1 tsp steak spice. 1 onion sautéed I think that’s it. Bake for 1 hour at 350F I just chop the nuts. Walnuts Brazil nuts and hazelnuts make a delicious combo, but I usually just use whatever I have in the kitchen 🙂

Welcome:)) You will LOVE Rose she is The Best!! Merry Vegan Christmas:)))) 💚🎄🦃🐽
I'm not vegan, but I've tried this, and it's WAY better than any other roast I've had for Christmas.
I'm not vegan but I would totally give up turkey for a year to have this instead. Looks delicious
Make that change sister. Save sentient beings from mass slaughter!
What a fabulous comment about the quality of Rose's content...she got to you...she's amazing...hope you make that change...your heart will love you in more ways than one.
you're gonna make more than your family happy with that choice! you'll make a turkey happy too! good on ya!
I would call this recipe "Nut Rose" 😂 I love your videos and charisma ❤️

I think I love that idea! Do you.make your falafel from scratch?
@@topramennoodle21 of course, I like to can my chickpeas from scratch, so I always have the dried stuff to blend into falafel

I made this for Christmas. This nut roast is super delicious

I'm absolutely doing this for this Christmas 🎄
I made this recipe for Christmas Eve dinner and it was sooooo good! I’m definitely making it again next year:) thanks
So Rose has gone from the Green Giddess veggie look to a bit of a Christmas Vampyra! But the food looks great and so healthy!
Rose, this looks amazing and full of so much goodness. Thank you for sharing :)
I absolutely love your videos. You are so funny & amazing. Been following for years❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy Holidays gurl…..keep doing what’s do
Thanks Rose. This all looks yummy.
OMG that looks so good! And it looks really simple, too!
I did this a couple months ago but half as much nuts and vegan ground beef and it was really tasty
I’m going to try to make this. Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing.
You’re definitely gonna be on the toilet after that roast. THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT!!😍
😂
I love watching you figure out a recipe along the way. That’s how I cook too!! Lol. Who needs measurements or instructions ☺️
Yes!!!! Thanks for these delicious and awesome recipes as usual.
In England a roast is named after the method of cooking the meat in a traditional Sunday roast dinner 😊
This looks Yummo! you can make a quick glaze with a bit of maple syrup, a tsp. of miso, a & touch of vegan butter warmed in the microwave! Love your channel!
Damn, I feel like I'd be able to drink that glaze
Omg the best glaze is a mixture of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and maple syrup
I’m definitely making this for Christmas!
I would probably add celery and sage for more traditional “turkey” vibe, or fennel and spag sauce for an Italian vibe.
My mum made a really nice vegetarian main for the Christmas dinner for me, it's not vegan but it can easily be adapted I believe - it's a parsnip roulade
Happy Holidays Rose 🌹
Your Videos are awesome and so are you.
Amazing Roast/Loaf Rose! Like the idea of adding The Miso-You aced the free form:))) Merry Vegan Christmas xoxoxJen!❤💚🎄
Looks absolutely delicious.
My fav is the cashew nut roast recipe from the vegetarian times magazine.
That Nut Loaf looks Yummy.
Yes festive hair too Rose 😀

This looks incredibleeee. Do you think its possible to prepare the mix a day or 2 before and bake it on the day?
Rose: “See you in my next video”
Me: “Christmas /holiday mukbang!!!! Yayyyy!!!”
What food processor do u have? It looks nice and small
Is there an alternative to mushrooms I can use for this roast?

Great video, Rose! We featured your video on my website this week in our "Concessions" area. Link is in my bio!

No problem, just buy ground nuts and seeds and oat flour and chop / grate the rest really finely :).
Rose, any idea whAt I can use instead of mushrooms? Honestly I still do not like them! 😂😂😂 thank you!
Could try crumbled firm tofu?
Definitely will try--just wish the calories weren't so much for nuts. :(
Your hair color looks nice on you :-)
Cool beanz
I love nuts but I have a hard time finding nuts that don’t taste rancid.

So how do you make yours? I need a straightforward recipe. I haven't got a food processor though. 😱
