My weakness is that I understand what I need to do to become better off it's just my consistency is awful lol. I only earn £41 k a year but technically that's enough to invest and start seeing some decent return

No problem. Everyone starts from somewhere. I’d recommend you search ‘what are index funds, on UA-cam and watch some videos on the topic. Shouldn’t take long and then that will give you a good foundation to take from there.
