Russian Principal star dancer Farukh Ruzimatov & Canadian Prima Ballerina Evelyn Hart dance excerpts of Act II from Giselle. This was performed as part of the Plisetskaya Gala in 2003.

Ruzimatov is a complete ballet dancer: physically virtuoso and a great actor.

What a sensationel performance! They both shows the hypnotic and magical power from this story of "Giselle" and the romantic dance. For me Evelyn Hart is next Evdokimova the best (i have seen of course). Thank you for posting this!

evdokimova facci mezentseva the best giselles l was so lucky having seen live all them in the role ,fracci with nureyev baryshnikov and vasiliev mezentseva with zaklynsky in leningrad and evdokimova with schauffus and gelvan .great times

What a moving performance by Ms Hart and a really despairing one by Ruzimatov. Never saw Evelyn Hart on stage and she seems a very great and convincing dancer. Her embodiment of the dead Giselle still filled by love for the boy is perfect and so far from those dancers using this drama to show ridiculous extensions and jumps ! Sometimes They do a circus of a cemetery!!
