I became a fan of WangYibo after watching The Untamed and since then I've started watching SDC and dramas. He is so talented at such young age and I really admire him. He is the best💚💚💚
Wang Yibo is the first Chinese Artist who became my favourite. He is so talented- actor, racer, dancer, singer, rapper and the list is long. But I know him from Gank Your Heart then Untamed. He is a superb actor. He is only 24 and this successful.

He joined IBDNDC when he was 13 years old, not long after that, he was scouted by Yuehua and was sent to S. Kor. to become a trainee. The broadcast of "Wind of Luoyang" started on December 1 - so how can you talk about rumors when it is a fact? And it is not a mythology drama but a detective story. Going through the comments here, it's kinda annoying to see the story made up by shippers about yibo going through 3 auditions being repeated over and over. Such misinformation has been spread so much.
Actually no, Yibo had to audition for the third time befire be was casted as the main lead. It was not as soon as he walked through the doors, did the directors caste him to be Lan Wanji. It was due to his persistence to be a part of the drama! EDIT: Now that I watched the interview of the CQL producer, I got to know that he , physically didn't appear 3 tims for the audition. Instead his photograph was passed on 3 times, before he actually came in for the audition himself. I am very sorry if my comment confused everyone. It had some misinformation, but hope the doubt is cleared!
According to interview that was done, his photo was passed over 3 times. He either sent or performed a song by his favorite singer, the video shows him playing a piano/organ. He might have even came to a screening dressed as the title character.

Actually no, Yibo had to audition for the third time befire be was casted as the main lead. It was not as soon as he walked through the doors, did the directors caste him to be Lan Wanji. It was due to his persistence to be a part of the drama!
EDIT: Now that I watched the interview of the CQL producer, I got to know that he , physically didn't appear 3 tims for the audition. Instead his photograph was passed on 3 times, before he actually came in for the audition himself.

According to interview that was done, his photo was passed over 3 times. He either sent or performed a song by his favorite singer, the video shows him playing a piano/organ. He might have even came to a screening dressed as the title character.

@@patwestergard4252 and yibo would not do that,when he was in uniq, he kept saying he was straight even when he was shooting the untamed cuz he was doing shoots with his uniq bros sometimes so I doubt he would have agreed to do those things in the novel but he has no problem with it in straight movies. For me I want him to have freedom to do what he wants and any character he wants to play. I admire and respect him as an actor
