A medical student understands anatomy better by his UA-cam teacher Sam than by his college anatomy teacher. First time in life I really understood what is lesser sac, and my exam's next week
it really makes me wanna question why can't the professors at the med school put the same amount of dedication to make students understand these intricate conceptions?
Good work Sam, you've managed to capture my 5 year old daughters interest, and so quite often it's, "Dad, can we watch a body video?" And so Dad gets to watch something on youtube which doesn't rot the brain. Winning all round. I told her there isn't cling-wrap inside her though.
At 8:15 You're absolutely wrong about that I've been struggling with understanding the peritoneum and the two omenta And you have made it MUCH easier to understand! Thank you very much 😁
Professors like you are a blessing. Omentum is a topic that went whoosh above my head in textbooks! and you turned it around and explained it so beautifully. so grateful. Thank you !!!
Hi, I'm an Italian student, and I was so desperate to understand the peritoneum for my upcoming anatomy exam that I started searching everywhere on google\youtube something that would explain it to me and.... I FOUND YOU!!! You are such a GREAT TEACHER, I understood everything even though it's not even my mother tongue, I don't know if you'll ever read this but... you've made my day AND my life a lot more easier, thank you so much for this, definitely will watch more videos!
I am not medical student but been reading a lot of medical studies and this video explanation specifically is the only one I understood. Thank you dr :)
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Incredible how you understand what the student is thinking even though you are looking at a camera lens. Thank you so much!
One can actually see the effort you make to ensure students understand the thing completely! Thanks for making such great videos, made me understand stuff which was previously too difficult for me to get a grasp on!
I have always been escaping this topic forever, 3 years since anatomy and I finally understand this today! thankyou so much Sam! this is so life changing! ur the best, so grateful that I came across ur videos!
Well, no doubt that you have done a wonderful job in explaining this topic very well, but in a much wider view, the sarcasm and the light hearted way in which u taught the topic was what made me stay glued to the screen...so fantastic job 👍
Perfect explanation of something that is very difficult to understand. Any student who is interested in pursuing surgery should watch this video in order to understand the anatomy.
Brilliant, you are just brilliant at explaining and illustrating. Thank you very much from a veterinary surgeon working on his specialization in surgery!
fantastic!!! Thank you!!! This helped immensley!! The cling film is brilliant at bringing this structure, the lesser omentum, out of the 2D and into a more lifelike 3D appearance. Love it. 🙏
A gift that keeps giving, i watched this whan i studied anatomy in my first years and i come back here to watch it again for my surgery exam! Thank you so much sir 🫡
Thank you so much!! I cannot even express my gratitude in words, I've been searching for something like this through out youtube until i found yours. There are sagittal sections nearly everywhere and it was difficult for me to grasp, thank you very much! You've earned a subscriber
your explaination with clingfilm very helpful . I'm really understand . the lesser sac actually connected with the space between the double layer that fold into greater omentum .
I’ve never really had a problem at imagining stuff since i tend to close my eyes and try to imagine it until i finally get a picture. But i’m happy that this guy helps a lot of people who struggle at doing so imagine how these structures are shaped
Thank you so much, A small remark for correction; compression of the epiploic foramen can only control the hepatic blood inflow as the outflow is through the hepatic veins.
Oh TYSM sir! Such a great vedio to make us understand three dimensionally , literally I have been struggling since first year of my medical college to understand it properly , thank you again 🌸🌸
You are brilliant Sir...I watched multiple videos to clear my concept but this one makes the most sense. It’s clearly visible how much effort went into making this video
Thank you so much, it's really outstanding .It's clearly very difficult area in anatomy to be understood but you thankfully make it extremely easy ...much appreciated
Absolutely an amazing representation. I had a ton of trouble understanding this concept now that classes are all virtual. Your technique helped tremendously!
Understanding the greater and lesser omentum is much easier when it's viewed from an embryological point of view, with the twisting of the ventral and dorsal mesogastrium
Found this channel few days back and became fan of it. Excellent demonstrations..... But it would be even more helpful if you add subtitles/captions for better understanding of the medical terms. please try to ADD SUBTITLES/CAPTIONS in coming videos. Thanks!
Very educational video! Despite the fact that you may felt like you made it a bit unclear i can assure you that you explained it in a very evident way. Props to you for also putting in some good humour!
