This is really refreshing compared to the other “Minecraft civilization” videos. I especially liked the manhunt part, it sounded like you and your friends were having a lot of fun recording that, nice video all around. If I can know… do you have any ideas for another series?
SPOILER ALERT !!! - I'M A NERD WHO WANTS TO CRITIQUE THE STORY (RANT ALERT) Im ngl, i have some writing advice for you. Pretty good and solid story, but the characters develop way too quickly, gives a rushed feel (carter and bob had forgiven Llama WAY too quickly. Bob had some development when he pulled them out of the arena, but if he maybe said something kind on accident, or like a scene after they drop into their supposed "final speedrun" where bob mutters "why do I feel sorry for them" it would've been less abrupt. Carter was wayyy too fast as well. Carter literally instantly flipped the switch after they saved him from the lab, to the point where it did not feel natural. Carter could've slowly warmed up to the crew after each time they saved him, and then the lab is the point where he fully shifts over). The other glaring issue is definetely the time stop clock. There are multiple situations where the time stop would've just ended the story (Llama at the time when he met king steve could've just stopped time and cornered king steve, I know the twist ending is important but situations like those are big nono's with powers in writing) and you kinda forgot the rule where only Llama can move in stop time (the desert temple escape everyone escapes through stopped time). My fav parts about ur story is obviously the twist ending, it's well executed and probably the best written part here. Llama being the former combat king is almost a perfect reason to why he sucks at speedrunning. Something you could've done (and you might've and I wasn't paying attention) is make Llama suspicously good at combat before the reveal, to foreshadow it a bit more (the hard speedrun's were good foreshadowing though) and the aspect regarding jealousy with alpaca could be explored more, as he felt kind of way to easy to sway to defeat. (why would alpaca not do everything in his power to stop Llama? maybe make it so alpaca still feels some of that brotherly love towards Llama, which is why he didn't try everything to stop him, such as using mutants, or like holding his friends hostage.) And stupidly enough, king steve's character I think is the best written one here. While he was minor, he is probably one of my favorite characters due to how perfect his execution was. Set up as crazy (literally said "He's crazy!) during the final challenge he does many things a smart minecraft player wouldn't do (jump into a desert temple chest room, attack zombie piglins, look at too many endermen. This is genius due to the fact that these work to set up more time for the crew to finish the run, in a believable way, instead of just him being stopped by completely random things that a full netherite supposed "king" of speedrun civilization would never be stopped by) and he also maintains a "superiority" complex over the characters. When he is revealed to be one of the scientists that worked for Llama, and later alpaca, that makes his character seem full, like his superiority complex is because he was constantly at the heel of Llama (I'm not sure if that was ur intention, but still, it makes his character better), and his "crazy" personality is typical of scientists like him. Overall, I'm just a writer who likes analyzing stuff, and I hope ur next series is even cooler. Also u sound like dream.
i loved it. it was one of the best ones i’ve seen. ever since parkour civilization i’ve been dying to find another creator that makes movies just as good :D i can’t wait to see what you guys make in the future
