I had new in '87. I had the half vinyl top brown with the dark chocolate brown interior. The exterior was cream and color. At the time they put that color on a lot of the models. It was a beautiful car and the one you're showing is also beautiful.

I had one super clean just like one in video. Bought it from Superior Buick in Dearborn mi back in 2000. Was a gorgeous car. Somebody stold it summer 2003 in Detroit. Never found😢😢

My parents had one just like it down to the crushed velour seats. Very comfortable car. Rode and drove like a luxury car.

I had a 1986 regal limited with the same oldsmobile engine and it was burgundy love those buicks

She is beautiful. V8 Olds are not common in Regal bodies either.
It was a $250 factory option. So was the 4 speed overdrive transmission. $500 drivetrain upgrade on a car that stickered for $13,000 brand new in 1987 was a lot of money to upgrade then. That's why the vast majority came with only the 231 V6 and 3 speed auto, or one or the other V8 or 4 speed. To find one like this with the V8 AND 4 speed is a rare gem. This is the Regal to have if you can find it.

I thought the same thing! I can understand the Grand National not having it but a luxury oriented Regal Limited with no trace of fake wood on the interior in the 80's?? Very surprising! I am pretty certain the earlier models had it, maybe by '87 they were just using up what look to be grand National trim pieces with "Limited" badges glued on since '88 brought in a new model after 7 years?
