A shame there isn't an American Standard or American Deluxe version. The Fender Standard 69 thinline is dreadful now. Bloody 12 inch radius fretboard and noiseless pickups with more icepick than a ceramic Stratocaster bridge pickup. No thank you, and it's an awfully-large jump in cost for an AV.
