"bullying" the streamer is a game with very defined rules that involve teasing within VERY defined limits and mixing in being uplifting and loving. It's not something new people see from clips because those moments tend to be between the big funny moments. Numi and chat will spend long periods being parasocial for each other and then move into the teasing. On top of that, a lot of toggles that Numi makes a stink about are things she engineered herself and plays into for the bit. A lot of streaming and vtubing is collaborative improv and role play with the people in the community. The chat and the streamer are effectively agreeing to play certain roles during the course of a stream. Numi doesn't necessarily change her personality, but she is filtering it through the role of an 8 foot tall half demon girl who doesn't want to admit to being a cat girl
