@@MostafaMansoori that is taqwa. My brother. Tawheed is to single out Allaah سبحانه وتعالى in all our acts of worship. With out anyone in between. Without making the creation like Allaah or resemble Allaah to the creation.

Am I right in thinking that when you talk about the 'life to come' you are talking about a future time which our actions today will bear upon? If I am good today, my life will be easier tomorrow. But if I am bad today, then likely my life will be harder tomorrow. Is tomorrow the 'life to come?'

Assalaamu'alaykum. Akhee he is referring to the Akhirah (the Hereafter). You go through this life and Allaah will test you. Everything happens by the will of Allaah.

The life to come he mentioned is the Hereafter ,or simply, afterlife. We Muslims believe that there was a time when we were brought into existence, i.e. we had a beginning. Now this all will have an end and there will be a Day of Judgement where all our deeds will be judged by the creator who created us. We will get either eternal paradise or hellfire as a result of what we've done in this life.

Tawheed means believing in the Oneness of Allah.
Allah is the One & Only 'True God' Tawhid, also spelled Tauhid, Arabic Tawḥeed, (“making one,” “asserting oneness”), in Islam, the Oneness of Allah in the sense that He is One and there is no true god but He, as stated in the shahādah (“witness”) formula: “There is no true god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger.” Tawhid further refers to the Nature of the 'True God. Allah is the One and Only ‘True God’. There is no ‘True God’ except Allah, Allah is Exalted above His ‘Arsh ( Mighty Throne). Know Allah by His Names and Attributes (Asmaul Husna).

Emulate the ALL ENCOMPASSING CREATOR, on a human level and then only will one begin to 'see' ONENESS.
Simple example is to procreate by way of example any one Divine attribute of the CREATOR in Asma-ul- Husna,(99 most beautiful names of ALLAH). Plant a prepared dried insignificant seed of a tree, nurture it,(another Attribute of ALLAH, and with Patience,( another Attribute of ALLAH), then await the 'fruition' which praises the GLORY of the CREATOR. Needless to say, the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, imperative to the survival of both humans and trees, and so much more incl. photosynthesis, all glorifies the ALMIGHTY ALLAH!So,..... only by actually physically planting the tree, did one partake in acknowledging the ONENESS of the CREATOR. Advising others to plant the seed, and not actively doing it yourself, negates ones comprehension of TAUHEED.

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. - jeremiah 17:5
Tauheed is to worship Allah only and consider Him as the source of help or harm.
It’s opposite is shirk (associating partners in Allah’s authority)
So shirk is to consider anyone besides Allah as the source of help or harm.
For example, chapter 1 verse 5 says, You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
      (This is tauheed)
Quran 18,102 [Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allah’s Messengers, ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliya’ (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism).] Quran 18,102

Tawheed means One Allah. This is recognized in each Abrahamic religion. ....Then there attributes of God...which is presented in all Abrahamic religion. Christianity uses the Holy Trinity.
The word ma la nihayalah in Arabic means infinite. I can't find this in Quran.

So God is one in what sense? Like in the sense that man is one? Does God have a soul or a spirit or a body?
It is interesting that God made man as a single being with three essences, ie: body, soul and spirit. Every PERSON is unique from all other persons although we share the same nature of being, we are human beings.
If God is unique, and he is, then nothing is stopping God from existing, not as man, but as He is revealed in Scripture, One in being and three in person. This doesn't not contradict the unity of and uniqueness of God. In fact, this makes God even more unique than what is revealed in Islam. Tawhid only reveals WHAT God is but does not reveal WHO God is. This is the fundamental difference between the gospel of Jesus and the Quran. The Torah and the Gospel reveals not only WHAT God is, but WHO God is.
What am I talking about? This WHO God is and WHAT God is sounds like nonsense, you might be saying. If you ask someone WHAT I am, they would say, He is a Human Being. That is what I am. If you ask someone WHO I am, they would have to learn my name. My personal name would reveal WHO I am. The Scriptures reveal WHO God is. Jesus claimed to reveal WHO God is, and he even claimed to KNOW WHO God is, not just know WHAT God is. The Quran explains WHAT God is and WHAT God expects of you as revealed in commandments (such as Tawhid al-Asma'was-Sifat and Tawhid al-Ibadah). The Bible reveals WHO God is because God tells us his personal name and he makes himself to dwell among us. By the revelation of Jesus, we KNOW WHO God is in His person, not just his being.
If you want to know WHO God is, I recommend you study the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels. Jesus said this is the work that God accepts, to know God and the One who is sent by God, Jesus the Messiah.

Similarity between Judiasm, Christianity and Islam
The most important commandment of Judiasm, Christianity and Islam is same, -Your God is One God, see Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, and Quran 2:163,
This is logical because all prophets (Jewish and Arabic)-Moses, Jesus and Muhammad- were descendants of Abraham, peace be upon them all.
The first sentence said by all prophets was, ‘Worship Allah, my God and your God.’
