bro, I'll tell you a little trick, when you counter someone's focus attack, and you disarm them you can actually pick up their weapon if you have more space in your bag. I learned it from my Chinese friend, it's pretty nasty, especially in the early game. love to share it with you. if you read the comments. liking your video!

Quick trick for this game hold down the focus but release it before it charges to get armor with a normal attack so you can’t be interrupted, and you can’t be parried that way it’s a sure way to start your combo unless the enemies is using a charge attack, it’s a great way to finesse people after you hit them with a focus attack as well because they will expect another focus attack and parry but you’ll light attack them instead and then it’s just easy damage at that point
My issue is when I created my account I accidentally selected AS instead of NA and now I can’t use the club system because I don’t speak Korean (or Chinese or whatever it is). Says “can only be accessed on AS where you created your aacount” so whack
no one gave me an easy way out in Rocket League, I just kept playing because that game is so fun. If Naraka is a fun game, then a high learning curve shouldn't be an issue. Challenging games need to stay part of the mainstream, especially in this generation of easy-to-play easy-to-win games.
@@MrBiosh0ck theres just more gamers. and casual has always been king. So lets just say for every 3 people that start playing games, only one of them plays hardcore. hard games arent the future no matter how you look at it. Besides there is a bot mode and a mode where it's strictly combat based.... And a mode strictly using ranged weapons.... There is enough game modes here to basically get good... It's like dark souls, just keep learning and you will eventually get there.
Wow, I never realized that I do play a lot of games purely for the cosmetic. I bought weapon skins in Valorant after a day of playing it. I'm still completely ass at it. I end up quitting a lot of games just because I end up sucking at them even when I do practice.
after the counterstrike hits you can instant grapple for more damage :) also doing a light attack into a crouch cancel parry is good for countering focus . so much to learn but worth it.
Heres what helped me-- ive played and am still playing apex for a long time. As a result, ive learned how to play BRs so all i have to do is learn to fight. I understand that you shouldnt loot a ton, just grab a decent weapon and your first kill will give you the loot you need. I also know from apex that the only way to get better is to fight a lot. I say that to say that if you play BRs already, this has a similar learning curve
I don't know about auto parry or combos. But more PVE and story I think is fair. I would compare it to fighting games and how casuals play arcade mode against the computer for a long time before they jump into PVP. That way the casuals can still learn the timing and combos, they just won't learn all the situations until they play other players. I think that's a nice middle ground.
3:15 Another royale did this. Spellbreak. Was curious why everyone was moving around in a weird fashion, very rarely seeing actual other players. Then they put me into big boy games, and sadly I never learned most of the stuff to compete so I ended up leaving after a while.
The parry system is good in concept but needs work due to the inconsistency…ping and hit detection among the issues I’ve encountered. Also feel like the player count is a or map needs adjustment. I will say that you're right, but I think people deciding to give up after one loss isn't the games fault. See when I started playing and I played through the tutorial I was like well it seems nice, what I was really looking forward to was seeing the skill ceiling I was looking to be destroyed so bad simply because I wanted to see what there is to learn and when I started off with bots and a few random players who were also new I wasn't not impressed but I wanted to be mind blown so I played like 2 matches and hopped off. When I actually started playing showdown mode with my main Valda Cui and unlocked her first spear skill, first thing I did was try it out in regular game mode and my two fav weapons became Spears and Staffs if you get the Legendary souljade for either of them in game I don't know what could be more fun than landing those combos. I've used the katana skill too and it looks so epic. The game takes getting used to just like you would any other shooter the only difference is everything is up close and personal so people looking to be in the back spamming projectiles won't have it easy, it'll actually be more difficult.
After 100 hours in the game, I will consider it a great game but has a few things to fix. Really appreciate the devs for giving us the survey to considering to fix the game and care about the community. What I see right now is for sweaty tryhards for this type of game but it takes time to learn, took me 5 days to learn how this game works, basically rock, paper, scissors. Only problem is the grappling broken, matari and tarkji are broken characters, and spears, swords, daggers are op. My tip for new players is too keep playing the game and play quick match instead of rank if you feeling like your trash, also use practice range for combos for your play style.
I gotta agree with what you said about this gen only caring about cosmetics and not competition. So far, my ONLY issue with this game that really pisses me off is when you double tap "F" it cancels your special. I've gotten screwed by that a few times, in the middle of a heated battle, I didn't even realize I tapped "F" twice, but I did mean to press it so I can get my skill off and it never goes off and I'm like wtf bro, how is it on cooldown if it never popped. It's cuz a double tap puts it in auto cooldown. Devs gotta fix that, sometimes these fights be intense, don't be punishing me for accidently "spamming" the "F" button, I'm trying to fight for my life lol, this Great Sword is trying to biblically destroy me lol
I completely agree. Best example for me personally is For Honor. I bought it a good time after it first came out but got really frustrated with it pretty quickly because I couldn’t get a feed on the ground without having 4 players violating me. So I put it aside and honestly forgot about it. Then some 2 months ago I reinstalled it. Not gonna lie. The first 50 hours was just me getting me butt slapped. But this time I stuck around. I learned that 4 players bashing my skull in was me being in a bad position. And now I am pretty decent at the game and loving it to death. That was a valuable lesson to me.
Just bought it only found out about during nvidia update well looking forward too this it's like a mix between darksouls and fighting games mixed with br type game play it's amazing
I’m new to the game on PS5. Sometimes I feel like the difference in strategies used, and moves able to execute between PS5 and PC players gets real apparent. It’s still fun but dang it makes me wanna switch to PC and start over.
Parry needs a dedicated key , one that WONT accidentally que up attacks. You should be able to Parry mid swing. If I Parry at the wrong time sure I should be punished but since I can't Parry during swing it means ppl choose the dodge cancel then parry. Devs should cut to the chase and implement what players are clearly doing anyway. But when you add in The fact that you're vulnerable even during knockdowns imo means the game needs better 'back off me mechanics. I also wouldn't mind if all counter skill were activated mid combo. Just to allow at least one moment during a fight to have some spamming back off.
I'm also a firm believer that "cancels" are indicative of bad design somewhere throughout a system. When players cancel to accomplish something 9timesOutta10 it either wasn't intended by devs or was an oversight. Essentially when you design something complete & well thought out , cancels become unneeded. If to play a game well it requires a player to do a function to skip a function then your system needs work...
I’m down for it. Honestly it took me like 6months to get apex down fully & that’s been my favorite game in history. I definitely get the same vibe with advance movement. Naraka here I come
This is definitely the best game I've bought in 2021. When your skills get better, your 1vX get's better as well. A lot of people gotta realise that they built this unique environment for you to use it to your advantage. Line of site is key in this game, also.
I totally agree with everything you have said in this video the player base that leaves are unskilled or refuse to learn because they want the easy win and fair enough go play a lame game where everyone wins regularly but for me seeing the end screen saying "glory is yours!" Means all that much more having been spanked repeatedly to get to where I am and I still get totally outplayed to this day this game is a really good example of accepting the learning curve
I gotta get on this myself. It sounds dope. I don't think you should never have an auto party for a fighting game that's PvP. Just get better. The way you explain it is that intimate knowledge of the game and skill means something and for a player there's nothing better. I'm more in favor for having fun game modes where you can work on your timing as opposed to auto parrying... something about that just seems off. I've been looking for a game I can put my time into for a bit so hopefully this works out for me.
In a cultivation (Aka Wuxia) novels, the only time a character doesn't introduce who they are to their opponent is when they don't believe the person they are facing is worthy of knowing who they and/or they think their opponent is gonna be an easy kill. So yeah, the peep at the beginning.... yikes he got slapped up. Forced to eat their pride XD
They should be more transparent about the bots at the beginning, probably just completely putting you in a sort of tutorial mode but this really just sounds like the learning curve something like Apex has just in a fighting game lens
To many of these new gamers want "Instant gratification." That is why they try to say thing like a Auto parry system...like nah bruh go to Walmart and get you some of that "get gud" and stop being a salt baby. LOL Good Video bro.
if it was just ground combat I could give it a try, but they use hooks fly from tree to tree. It is too complicated for me i don't want to have heart attack playing it.
You don't even have to play the BR mode to practice, you can go into the free for all mode (The BloodBath) And just stam those over and over for newer players, its what i did and its super fun, you get every weapon, 16 players in a match and you just practice what you want to. That way newer players don't spend 10mins looting to get dumpstered. The reason The Bloodbath is good is more often then not, your going to be 3rd partied in the BR mode, so it also on top of teaching you the mechanics, it teaches you how to move around a battlefield with multiple players trying to grapple stam or chase you down and you learn and adapt over time naturally. This games amazing but im 100% not about that "Give me a easier time" life, people put effort into anything in life they want to get better at, gaming is no different!
AYOOOO RIO SENPAI WITH THE INTRO KILL🔥🔥🔥🔥 After watching intro edit- They don’t wanna work for it Rio they want it handed to them.. this game is goated.
Before doing survival play bloodbath and get familiar with weapons and character abilities. It's a good mix of bits and players and is better than free training
I agree with your standpoint on making the games easier. ITS A COMPETITIVE GAME! Get good or sit down kids for real 🤣 I put in the time to learn these cancels and when to parry reading the attack swings from all weapons (f you greatsword) why do we listen to the people who want to casually play a comp game and my competitiveness gets sidelined.
a lot of people saying the game is easy doesn’t understand that every game until about silver 3 is full of bots. this isn’t a game we’re it’s a meta-to-win, you have to grind, play, fail, learn, play, fail, and when you do win it feels so fun and actually worth it. It’s so skill vs. skill. If you put the time in you will be wiping full squads with swiftness.
The trio matches can be brutal especially towards top 10, been practicing in solo alot cause boy those Ls can come fast in this game, still crazy fun for 20 usd
Tbh, this game is about PURE SKILL, vs like Apex, warzone and whatnot. This requires so much more than point click, or dropping an ability. This game rewards aggression, once you land combos its easy, i will agree with some that the parry system is sometimes weird, like parrying and disarming someone is about pure prediction, but there are times where i parried perfectly and it did nothing, probably a bug or minor connection issue. But honestly this game is meant for you to actually work for your kills, i dont think it should cater to those who want the easy road
I wonder why they wouldn't quit. The gameplay in the closed beta I'm sure someone was being payed to make the game look good because I sure as hell hate the sheer amount of stupid no-block gameplay in this game...I get light spammed and combo broken and can't get out of a combo getting thrown at me especially Yoto...I have Yoto and I can say that she is ultimately P2W don't buy a game or pay for items in a game that gives you the option to buy characters for real life money it won't end well :I I'm coming back every single year at least once to try and see if anyyyyyone is actually playing in NA because everyone keeps macroing and nobody literally plays NA. I have great ethernet I have an SSD and I did everything you told me devs... why am I not getting in a 1 minute queue? I hate the 20 minutes come on.
Oh hey, I didn't recognize the channel icon HAHA. Been a while since I've been here. I remember watching so many videos back when I was still playing Warframe like, two years ago. Anyways, I'm just passing by looking for Naraka videos cause it looks good lol
Wait does he know you or did you just type the comment to make it seem like he knows who you are ? I don't get why you think he would remember you unless you someone important I'm actually asking?
I stopped after the first 15mins. it's literally everyone you run into attacks EXCLUSIVELY you. Then they just run off, don't even fight each other. Not for me, I rather sit on my balls until they explode.
The devs do not enforce the rule breaking, and people who have been teaming for example, is still playing today. people from china or other Asian countries are playing on EU and NA servers with over 200 ping and you cant block/clash/parry their attacks. And if you play on EU or NA server its almost impossible to play against the chinese invation. They team up in solo q and make it hell.
Skilled timing in proper grown up gameplay is exactly why Summit1g ragequit Guild Wars 2, really great games like that have a skill floor and a skill ceiling that actually mean something.
i thought guild warss 2 was a basic mmo, tbf i never got very far into it cause i went back to shooters, and played casually with my friends, im guessing the pvp requires good understanding of meta and ability timing as the main mechanics?

I'm more in favor for having fun game modes where you can work on your timing as opposed to auto parrying... something about that just seems off. I've been looking for a game I can put my time into for a bit so hopefully this works out for me.
well said
On god I never comment on vids. But you are my fave UA-camr! Your content is great and funny af. Nice ass intro lmao
Lol thank you so much man im glad you enjoyed it
Bro I just found your channel. I love your vibe
Or people aren't weeps and play battle royales as they are supposed to be played?
@@1IGG Thought weeb was exclusive to Japanese stuff, this is chinese.
They should be more transparent about the bots at the beginning, probably just completely putting you in a sort of tutorial mode but this really just sounds like the learning curve something like Apex has just in a fighting game lens
You smacked the soul out of that player in the intro. Damnnn
Hahaha thank u fam he really tried to disrespect me
Daaaaaamn man, I just got this game and played my first solo match and I POPPED TF OFF. Now you’re telling me it was against bots 🙄😤 shiiiiiiiit
How bad does ping afect the game? Im thinking on buy in it but im from argentina
Faster connection. Period.
the gameplay looks good, its just the battle royale part that got me staying away
there are other game modes. there is a 1v1 tournament type mode. and blood bath is literally just a death match.
To many of these new gamers want "Instant gratification." That is why they try to say thing like a Auto parry system...like nah bruh go to Walmart and get you some of that "get gud" and stop being a salt baby. LOL Good Video bro.
All I can say in chat is “YOU COURT DEATH.”
I see another who knows wuxia.
I really needed to hear your advise about Pr games and waiting for the mobile version to get release soon
if it was just ground combat I could give it a try, but they use hooks fly from tree to tree. It is too complicated for me i don't want to have heart attack playing it.
My man erased his family tree
This games amazing but im 100% not about that "Give me a easier time" life, people put effort into anything in life they want to get better at, gaming is no different!
can you tell your computer specs, why this game looks so beautiful on your computer
Great video. Literally best game I ever played and I’ve been playing BR’s since H1Z1
Thank u man I’m just training on the cancels
@@LifeOfRio 🙏seems like anything more than a point and click is too much for people these days
That intro was pretty chad, here, have a like
AYOOOO RIO SENPAI WITH THE INTRO KILL🔥🔥🔥🔥
After watching intro edit- They don’t wanna work for it Rio they want it handed to them.. this game is goated.
Because money, companies are like this now 😒
a lot of people saying the game is easy doesn’t understand that every game until about silver 3 is full of bots. this isn’t a game we’re it’s a meta-to-win, you have to grind, play, fail, learn, play, fail, and when you do win it feels so fun and actually worth it. It’s so skill vs. skill. If you put the time in you will be wiping full squads with swiftness.
At nighttime est naraka usually peaks at 100k players live, mostly players from Asia, lowest live players is 20k
Hi Rio, if I'm not mistaken, is this a BR version of Ubisoft's ForHonor?
That Yoto Hime got smoked trying to abused focus attacks and right clicks didn’t know shit about the cancels
1 minute 45 seconds in..... Subscribed. I dont even play this game but that was awesome.
People are quitting because you realize that higher ranks are 50% Chinese smurfs and high as pings teleporting around. Or fucking cheating.
That’s it.
Good video mate! You are spot on with your thoughts 10/10
What'd stop me from playing is that fuckin inventory UI at 1:30. If I've gotta look back and forth across the screen, they fucked up.
is it good with controller or just stick with keyboard ??
I use controller it’s not too bad
yea, i feel like after a certain rank you just get pummeled unless you play ratjam. losing interest in the game after like 50-70 hours.
Is this game coming to PS4?
The trio matches can be brutal especially towards top 10, been practicing in solo alot cause boy those Ls can come fast in this game, still crazy fun for 20 usd
Damn that intro, savage🤣
It was so sick and that along made me want to try the game looks fun
lmfao he tried to bully me
Tbh, this game is about PURE SKILL, vs like Apex, warzone and whatnot.
The gameplay in the closed beta I'm sure someone was being payed to make the game look good because I sure as hell hate the sheer amount of stupid no-block gameplay in this game...I get light spammed and combo broken and can't get out of a combo getting thrown at me especially Yoto...I have Yoto and I can say that she is ultimately P2W don't buy a game or pay for items in a game that gives you the option to buy characters for real life money it won't end well :I
I'm coming back every single year at least once to try and see if anyyyyyone is actually playing in NA because everyone keeps macroing and nobody literally plays NA. I have great ethernet I have an SSD and I did everything you told me devs... why am I not getting in a 1 minute queue? I hate the 20 minutes come on.
Auto parry? They just need to fix the timing window on it.
It won’t be that hard you just need to know what your doing and train
That intro was TOP TIER FUNNY
Lol thank u fam glad u enjoyed it
Remember first rule of this channel: Do not buy series is not about not buying games!
HE COMING AFTER U LIKE MAD
I LIKE HOW U SAY LET STARTED THE VIDEO
Haha thank u fam
@@LifeOfRio No Problem
This game is absolute fire, I don’t even wanna play anything else
buying it now lol
I stopped after the first 15mins. it's literally everyone you run into attacks EXCLUSIVELY you. Then they just run off, don't even fight each other. Not for me, I rather sit on my balls until they explode.
The devs do not enforce the rule breaking, and people who have been
teaming for example, is still playing today. people from china or other
Asian countries are playing on EU and NA servers with over 200 ping and
you cant block/clash/parry their attacks. And if you play on EU or NA
server its almost impossible to play against the chinese invation. They
team up in solo q and make it hell.
