The Mario and Luigi statues are an interesting gimmick, as they both behave differently and provide distinct uses for the level. The Hammer Bro Statue is pretty neat, too! Something I'm questioning about is the origins of the statues-since Mario and Luigi are young men, someone must have made Stone Sanctuary in their honor. Perhaps this someone can be a boss character who is a creepy Mario Bros. Fanboy. Or maybe it's just something I probably shouldn't think too deeply about.
