This ain't a concert. They didn't come there to hear the music. They came to cheer on their favorite dancers. I love music so I understand your frustration. But this isn't what you want. What you want is a concert environment. The dancers want to hear the shouts and encouragement from the audience. Nothing would be more discouraging than a completely silent audience watching you step. How would you know if you really were getting down if everyone is quiet? Those shouts and exhortations let the dancers know that they are doing their thang!
