My childhood song!! We use to sing almost every night b4 going to Bed!!mum Taught us. We were in Total poverty!!! 😭😢😢😢8dotas/1 son.n it was like a dream singing this song ,giving ourselves Hopes!! Yes it came2pass " we r 6in Europe,I doctor!!in kenya.others doing very Good.Glory be to God!! LETS KEEP TRUSTING GOD NO MATTER WHAT.

I remember a certain old mama who used to visit us... Every night at out home.. She used to sing this song.... Used to feel goosebumps all over my body.. The connection of spirit while she sang was so powerful that I used to cry. I miss such moments of my childhood

I have an attachment to the song because Mrs kamau was my teacher and then she was Margaret Gichohi. She taught us Kiswahili in othaya boys and she sung the song then and other beautiful songs. God bless her.
She later moved to Nyeri primary, moi complex, on request because Tsc denied her transfer to go to where her husband was working. She was advised by a lecturer who taught her at kagumo college to apply for deployment to primary section and true to the advice given, it worked to her advantage, then transferred to enomatasyani.
