This kid is smart. He has a lot of courage and he doesn't even know it. I hope that couraged is protected all through his adult life. He will go very far. God bless him and shame on the school though.

Smart kid. The school that didn't keep track of the kids - maybe not so much.

How did the school let him go without a parent? And how did no one call the police & report a small child walking around by himself? I'm glad he made it home safe.

This broke my heart because I get so afraid that my 6 year old or 4 year old will be lost on the wrong bus when going home
It’s very overwhelming as a parent to trust these teachers and school officials with our babies
I thank God for making our babies as smart as he does and giving us wisdom and trusting us to guide his angels while they are here on earth

I walked five(5) miles alone, to pm kindergarten at age five! I crossed several streets including a highway entrance! I had to register myself once I reached the school. I was screaming and crying uncontrollably for hours after I reached the school’s hallway! I hated my Mom for such a careless decision. I often asked her why? She acted like it was no big deal! Horrible and neglectful mother. As a result, I became a helicopter parent of my children. Five years old was way too young, but it made me extremely independent. I’m still angry 35 years later!!!

What the other grown teachers are
Doing and when the clock strikes 3

Even though its not that much $
But still if they take on that responsibility, then pay attention!!!

I look with amazement but not in a way you would think.... what's special about this? In the Netherlands it is quite normal for children from the age of 5 to 6 to cycle home alone and even use public transport. And this applies in several parts of Europe, but also, for example, in Japan.

@@ShendonV Being a mom is in fact a feminine thing. Some women may date feminine men or men who can't make as much money as them, and choose for the woman to work. If that man does all the housework, then that arrangement will probably turn out fine. Are you not capable of critical thinking, or did you just want to see if you could start an argument?
