What people don’t understand people nowadays don’t fight they scared to take an L and tarnish the little reputation they do have so they resulting to gun play there’s no more dying for something when people dying for nothing
Dying for nothing is the whole point of drill. Before it was gangsters who were committing crimes in the streets to survive or to further their cause. These dumb ass little drill kids loved the aesthetic of being a banger but didn't actually have any gangs to join because they're not from the hood. So they formed their own gangs, but the whole point was just to have a reason to kill others. They weren't moving shit, they weren't running drugs or guns or stolen cars, they weren't making money or doing anything with the turf they had. The whole point was just to have rivalries so they had an excuse to bump each other off. Drill music was already popular a long time before it came to the Chi, but when it did arrive on the scene here, it gave rise to this bullshit. It's all about killing for nothing and dying for nothing, like a bitch, and being remembered by the rest of this city as a useless fool.
