Sometimes I watch these 'moving to Korea' vlogs and think, 'Why don't they ever show footage from the window' as they are flying?' Can they see land below at any time? What country is it? Etc. So thank you for those few moments we saw outside, because it was actually really awesome! Flying west to east, I am sure the jet lag has to be real! I flew from US to Amsterdam once, and I was a zombie the entire day after arriving. lol
Did you move to Korea for study or work??? How have u been finding being in your own?? I ask as I’m thinking to do the same next year and would like to get ur perspective on it 😊
i studied here for the first three months! it was a bit hard in the beginning being here by my own, but luckily i found friends:) i would recommend coming here to everyone i know!! it is such an experience and so so worth it. you grow so much as a person if you travel alone, and you can make so many new friends here :)
That’s my goal aswel when I finish year 11 and then start college am going to learn how to speak Korean in college then my dream is to go and live in Korea from England to Korea ❤
You could always try learning Korean before so that when you go to college you’ll have a better understanding of Korean and you’ll learn it more easily and maybe use other recourses like on UA-cam, apps, online courses etc.. I hope you accomplish your dream from England to Korea!
Correct me if I'm wrong but you didn't seen very excited to be living in Korea! Especially seeing YG that would be awesome but I'm so young I cant go yet
I was very jet lagged and overwhelmed in the beginning which might be why you got that vibe from this video… But no i was very excited and loved it there once i got settled down🥰 and its a little bit hard to convey that in these videos since theres no talking and little footage
Bro I need to know how can u get Korean money like is it like when ur in ur country u have to put ur country’s money in ur bank card then go to Korean and spend it like it’s okay I really don’t understand how? Do u exactly spend money there when u don’t have Korean won please help
Do you speak korean if not then how do you do in korea without speaking the language and if you do did you learn the language or do you speak it at home or other etc if you did learn it then any tips on learning it?
when i got there i only knew a few words and phrases, so i would say you could get around pretty well with only english in the beginning (signs, subway etc are all in english). i studied korean there for only three months. however, i didn't prioritize studying as much as others so my skills were limited. my tip on learning is just try to use it as much as possible in your daily life, like ordering in cafes etc :)
@@jeovimsa626 my airbnb was fine bc of the location but i had two roommates and id say the worst room (water leak from the rain and thin doors) so my experience there couldve been better but it worked. airbnb is also very expensive for what you get, i only stayed there bc my uni didnt offer dorms for international language students. i had friends who lived in dorms and they didnt mind it + they made a most of their friends from living in the same corridor/building :)
This is my goal in 2 years once I graduate highschool
May u go south korea soon ...
omg u read operation true love too?

jag var i korea mindre än en månad sen! :D
Looking good 😍
How did you like your airbnb? And would you recommend?
the specific one i stayed in or staying at an arnbnb in general?
@@archiveoftess the specific one but also in general. I was struggeling decising weather to stay at a dorm or airbnb, because I didn't find good ones

if i were to re-do it, i wouldve stayed in a dorm or at least a less expensive place because you wont spend most of your time there anyway
Wait where was that place you went to on your walk at night???
I’m not sure actually since i had no idea where i was hehe
