It unites with the choroidal vein to form the internal cerebral vein. @ Stria terminals is a band of fibers connecting the amygdaloid nucleus with septal area. It is part of the limbic system. @ see the video of the venous drainage of the brain and the video of the limbic system.

Anatomically, yes. Functionally, the amygdaloid nucleus is part of the limbic system
