I pitch mine at 105-110. Nice and low to the ground. I use a separate stake on the vestibules

@@ksgonewild Can you tell me about swapping out the door hooks? I don't quite know what I should do. I used my Lanshan 2 (not pro) for the first time last week and it was pretty good but it did leave me cursing the damn door hook system.

@@frankiethefrank ahhh yes I struggled a bit, wish I’d done a little vid now!! So if you undo the end knot and remove the bottom line lock then you feed the end through the little line lock on the metal rams horn hook and you should be good to go….. easier to demonstrate than explain. 🙃

I've done the same but actually with 2 more pegs you can have the doors separate and put them much lower incase the weather turns.

Hi Col! Hope you’re good. Quick question… What needs to change bungee mod-wise on the standard Lanshan 2 compared to the Pro. I did these footprint and tent bungee mods on my Pro a while back and worked great. Thinking about the standard Lanshan 2 though. Cheers! Ben

Hiya mate all good cheers , it’s just the footprint bungee wants to be the same length as the bathtub bungee , they are the same size so do 20cm lengths looped for both , any probs give us a shout

No doubt it’s an awesome looking setup, but golly 12+ pegs is adding a bit more weight and some setup time. I can see this is a cool modification for a weekend wild camping trip, but for UL through hike I’m looking to get as minimalist as possible. I do like the separate lines for the doors and the top of the trekking pole tie outs. The default configuration is a pain.
