I've spent a short time on the North Fork of the Salmon river upside down. But I managed to duck the rocks. Perhaps it's time to switch to the Youghiogheny. I had more fun on that one, I think. Perhaps when I retire, I'll look up what the heck trap blocking is. I grew up in Pittsburgh in the 60s and early 70's, so I'm a long time Steelers fan. but football isn't as interesting to me these days. I think one issue may be that the past of football is so nicely packaged that it's much more interesting and easy to access than the messy present.
