Great video. Thanks. We Own this one as well. The glass pitcher has a stop on it so it will not over flow if you want to keep filling the back tank twice before using all the water in the Pitcher. The sensor is in the white Lid on the pitcher. It's actually a great feature. I hope yours has it. Thanks for the video again.

The water should stop filtering if the carafe is full or off the base. So it shouldn't matter if you refill the tap tank before emptying the carafe.
Amazing video! Ty answered my question if the water waste was only for the carafe. Also, I noticed you seem to avoid plastic which is what I want too do as well. Unfortunately, the classic one has a plastic container, I wish there was an option to make it glass smh

Whoa. The AquaTru got such a lower score than on other reviews I’ve watched. Like one had a 44 control and 96 after purified. However it was the bigger unit. I wonder if the smaller unit isn’t as effective?
Hi Jess , my cat is recovering from cystitis and is doing very well all bloodwork/urine tests are good , he is also now on 100% VivaRaw duck and rabbit and I bought him the cat water urinary formula. My question is do you think this AquaTru is better than the cat water ?

I’ve been using Brita but seeing this makes me very concerned, especially for my little guy Brando which only gets filtered water along with my 8 year old feral rescue.
As I’ve written, I’ve switched my little guy to two of your recommended human grade cat foods.
Raised Right is simply immaculate! And I’ve been ordering Just Food For Cats, I’m awaiting his new Minnow cat treat toppers and will also begin feeding water packed sardines! 🐟
I’ll repeat Brando’s story here for some of your viewers to read.
My now 5 and a half year old rescue Brando has always had digestive problems since finding him in December of 2019. He was already a year and a half old and weighed only 5 lbs 2 oz’s. Malnourished and very sick. Infested with tape worms and tested positive for covid.
Due to my last rescue cat being put down at 14 years old, she was hit severe inflammatory bowel disease when she was 7 years old. She was on steroids, B12 shots, and prescribed Royal Canin Digestive Control. 😭
She became paralyzed and lost 9 lbs in 7 days. Many vet tests, trips to outside veterinary specialists due to not finding another possible infection or disease other than the severe inflammatory bowel disease. I put her to sleep on 10-14-2014. 😭
I couldn’t understand what happened. And the following month, my other rescue was diagnosed with lymphoma. We had to put him to sleep the following month. It was absolutely heartbreaking. 😭
I started researching everything that I could about cat diseases. I’ve lost many rescues to diseases such as cancers, kidney failures, pancreatitis, IBD, CKD, diabetes, FIV, even heart failure.
When I did what research I could with my little guy Brando, I swore I would never trust another commercial brand cat food as I did understand meat byproducts, 4 D’s, chemical fillers, addicting additives and learned about the inability that cats cannot digest carbohydrates at this time of Brando’s rescue.
I went with the advise again of my cats only veterinarian, giving him Hills Science Diet Digestive Sensitivity wet food and approximately 5% dry, also Hills Science Diet Digestive Sensitivity. This was awful. I felt so unbelievably guilty. For an already malnourished male cat, he dropped down to 4 lbs 6 oz’s in one month.
I ordered Wellness Core wet food, and dry for indoor cats. 95% wet, 5% dry.
He did very very well for the next 3 years but his stools were always loose and very smelly, like it could melt your skin. Unfortunately, my letting my vet know this, didn’t really seem like a huge concern as Brando’s yearly vet visits and vaccinations showed he was fine.
This late January 2023, Brando starting having stooling accidents, a lot of crying, hiding, and scooting for one day. I took him immediately to my cats only vet.
He was on the verge of being hit with the same disease that my 14 year old rescue had, severe IBD. I’m like wtheck is this going on again?

I used her affiliate link for her #1 recommendation for Raised Right, I was in tears on the phone with one of their sales reps Eric who called within minutes, and it was just past 11 pm EST, 8 for myself and Brando PST. I ordered and received their chicken recipe and began Brando’s transition as well as my other feral rescue CoConuts. This is a very long process and I learned about food transitioning when I switched the Hills to Wellness Core when I first rescued Brando. 9 months total.
Brando is also on Jess’s recommended FERA Prebiotics. But I also have to use an additional supplement Glandex for Brando. He just flourished on Raised Right Omgosh! 🥹🙏❤️🐾
He had two weeks of antibiotics, but I was told to give him Royal Canine digestive health and Purina probiotics. NO. NO & btw NO.
Brando and CoCo are now eating 90% Raised Right, 5% Open Farms Lamb Dry, 5% Wellness Core, 100% Just Food For Cats.
I’ve been alternating Just Food For Cats, they both love the chicken and sardines human grade cat food. I’m almost completely done with the wellness core transition to fully human grade cat foods. Brando’s last visit was so remarkable that my vet wanted his foods website, which at that follow up visit I was ordering just Raised Right. His ultrasound showed no signs of inflammation, no elevated white blood cell counts, his rear glands are expressing naturally which btw, I had to take him in every 3 months so that the vet could do this procedure as Brando had such loose stools, the rear glands cannot express themselves naturally.
His stools are solid, no more stench, no more vomiting, no more crying, hiding, or scooting, biting at his little rear end from pain. 😽❤️🐾😽❤️
Both of my rescues are so active and are super soft, always have had indoor cats and playtime daily. Lots of activities to keep them stimulated and happy. ❤️
We are now waiting for the recommended Jess & Jericho Minnow cat treats! And I will be adding sardines alternating as a topper treat from time to time. ❤

CoCo has also shown mass improvements in her anxious behaviors, she was borderline diabetic and now, she shows zero signs of pre diabetes or anxiety!

Remineralization filter option not recommended for cats?
I would like to know this too. My vet had no idea but I read somewhere online that minerals for us and cats are different. I called AquaTru and they advised I ask the vet lol

How did it get such a poor score of 84? The classic score 94+ per other youtube videos. This is really disappointing.
