TBH Roo's Xenotypes are so fun.
Un ironically my best colony was saved by a baby that had a Faun Mutation.

Oh yeah. I was briefly interested in this one. Then scrolling down the workshop page and getting to the milk stuff gave me horrific deviant art flashbacks from when the furries took it over in like 2002 and I closed the page lol

Finally we've got to Roo's xenotypes? These are all incredibly nice and well made, I must say.
The new weapons are a bit gimmicky for my taste, but I can't deny their amazing quality and uniqueness.
Please please please can you do a rundown on Vanilla Vehicles expanded and the Tier 3 and upgrades mods. Much love to you.

Gotta call bs on the sling, IRL slings can break the sound barrier, smaller heavy projectiles are close to bullets in penetration.
And those are human slings, now imagine what a sling used by a minotaur could do.
I'd rename and the sling to a bag of rocks, since it looks like they're throwing them

Hey when you have new backstories and stuff, I get not reading them all, but could you give us a taste? Pick out a couple you think are cool, either thematically or bonus wise?
I know Dead Man's Switch came up a thousand times already. It is a messy mod, unbalanced as heck, but damn is it a diamond in the rough. I love the production chain. I love the designs. I love the theme. Honestly together with VE pirates, combat extended and a high difficulty it feels amazing. CE makes many enemies and engagements outrageously deadly, a single centipede or tesseron can shoot your marinearmored pawns to bits. Dead Mans Switch works best in a modded setup and without a minmax mindset. Same with AOBAs fortifications. I don't think these mods will ever leave my core list
@freshgandalf8946 The main problem I have in covering DMS is that AOBA has a hand in a lot of large mods, all of which get released in unfinished states with... somewhat questionable balance at times. Then before one mod is ever finished or tweaked, something else comes out and focus shifts.
It's difficult to cover things like that when it's near impossible to tell if something is in that 'bored of this now' state of development or if it's still going to see active work, so I can't really gauge if things are intended to work in the often overpowered ways, or if that's just a quirk of the stage of release.
Especially with as much content as DMS has too, that is a whole lot of stuff to cover that can be rendered incorrect with a single patch. I think it's why the mod description is so light, to save them having to update it every time they throw out a new build.
@@MysteriousFawx God so true. I remember liking his "ancient XXX" series but they turn out to be just bloaty messes with errors left and right. Everytime someone asks for a way to lessen the frequences (they genuine spam you with notifs) it gets straight up ignored.
Love the look, hate to use them. A general theme with his mods.
