Hey! So I got pretty bullied by Col in the first two days, I think a lot of Inferno habits are actually quite detrimental including 2t muscle memory especially. A couple big tips for those of you going for Quiver: 1: RUN SOUTH - unlike Inferno it's OK to re-shuffle your stacks if they're looking tricky, diagonal running is quite strong (NW -> SE). 2: SLOW DOWN - sometimes waiting for the Minotaur to spawn or just chilling can be great, don't rush. 3: Using the start tile prevents the 3 west spawns occuring, you need to stay there for 4 ticks after clicking the Invocation, then click pillar on 5. This also prevents manticores from loading or anything hitting you. There's a big reddit post on this mechanic in full, it's what Port used for 1st clear, it's extremely strong. 4: USE SUPPLIES - much like Inferno, it's OK to burn supplies to see later waves, don't be afraid to chug. 5: GET GOOD - you will absolutely need a higher level of mechanical skill compared to Inferno, particularly with flicking (Manticores + x NPC especially). 6: AVOID BEES, AVOID REENTRY, AVOID DOOM. 7: Myopia fine, especially late, Solar pretty good, -60% prayer is also fine, relentless on wave 12 is GOOD. Will I make an FQF? Yes. However, I don't believe this content can be "easyfied" compared to Inferno, so I'll be working on getting more clears/speedrunning, and trying to understand it better before I commit to making videos on how best to get 1st clears. In other news, I think a s20 Col is on the table as early as tomorrow, will be working on that asap, splits are looking like s18 best case scenario currently.
yeah and/or (good/bad) habits from other content, I fidget a lot irl and in game so things like flicking rapid heal (a useful thing from past cox speedrun prep) tend to stick around as a not so useful fidget/click
do you think its likely that there will be some balancing/modifying to some of these modifiers? as im sure you know ones look the doom scorpion are extremely difficult to deal with and just flat out dont feel good at all. there are a few modifiers that are similiar or that also dont feel good in their own way, which has resulted in getting completions becoming a big reset/rng fest. im sure you know all this already, some simple things like maybe not making doom stacks carry over every wave could make them become possible options to take. im hoping next weeks update there will be some tweaks or mentioning
If they are stacked 2 deep, the back one always going to be off tick for the flick back of forth if you stand middle pillar and step out to the right and attack the back spawn? Really struggling handling these solves and idk why
I am a bit confused with the chat message at the end there - it said your pb was 1 tick faster than your actual time (which I guess is just a visual glitch) plus it didn't even show the killcount (unless it simply does not do that). Regardless, pretty cool showcase of the boss, congrats on the quiver!
1st day completions anything goes, it's about innovation and manipulation of game mechanics which is all fair game imo. now personally i would draw the line at woox doing bfly "cheese" at boss, that is to say it's fine he did it but I wouldnt want to do that myself (takes the fun/intended way to fight out of it).

Better NPC Highlight plugin, then go to True Tile and add "12826" to True Tile IDs.
