I was surprised to see this comment section. In Japan, there are many people who camp like him these days. Sometimes I see women camping alone. I realized again that it is because Japan is a safe place.

I think Japan's security is the best in the world. It's okay in most places for a child to take the train alone on a daily basis, and for a woman or child to walk alone on the night road.

When I was younger, I use to solo camp in my brand new 1986.5 Nissan 4X4 D21 pickup in northern California along the Feather River. I've had my Suzuki Kizashi for 10 years and over 100K miles. it is a troublefree car. Luxurious and fun to drive. On a par with those German sports sedans as far as handling and with a much finer interior. A shame they pulled out of the US market.

車中泊の人より山登りの人の方に装備が近いですね。
なるべく軽く、少なく。
だからある程度装備を積める車中泊は「いいなぁ」と楽しく観させて頂いてます☺️
