Would you be willing to make a demo video of real-world usage transitioning for both up and downhill functions? advice on storing toe pieces, using heel risers? I had my first day out on this system recently and found the transitions to be incredibly difficult, lots of icing issues and found the heel risers difficult to engage easily or quickly. Any advice on better usage of your product would be greatly appreciated because I do love the concept and the reliability of a pivot on the down.
hey cast-Team. First off: i like your system a lot and its the perfekt way to get the right performance on touring days 😍 Unfortionally i have some issues with one break of my cast system. One always gets unleashed on the uphill. Do you know that issue and can it be fixed somehow?
You make me dream , i m riding look since i am riding but those days got the salomon shift for freerando but there is no way compare to look pivot efficency! Those days are not good for skiing instructors like me ( and for a lot of jobs too) but i will try to ride with you this winter! I wish you a good season , you deserve it !!!
Maybe I have misunderstood it. But if you have to carry the toe piece in your backpack when going up, you still have to carry all the weight right?! The only advantage then will be moving the mass from your legs to your back?
Similar concepts, but the Shift is more comparable to the Duke PT. The Cast is a completely normal alpine binding on the way down after you swap the tech toe out for the alpine toe.

I'm getting these mounted on a fresh pair of Moment Wildcat 108s. Cannot wait to rip with these in the back country.
This is beautiful, i want those.

when is the next restock??
nice vid but why does he sounds so sad and bored
Because he had to stay inside and make this video when he wanted to be out skiing?
Thank You Silas!!!! My CAST system is a godsend as a larger human there is really nothing even close. Best combo solution hands down 🙌🏽😎

There is a saying that 1 kg on the feets is worth 5 in the backpack while walking.
What happens when ski get off, crash, is front part really fixed?
Will the Cast bindings work for my Look Pivot 14 bindings? Or just the Pivot 15 and 18s?
Just 15 and 18s
Will you guys ever release a freetour for the pivot 12s?
It works best with the 15 and 18 since they are a full metal construction. As the 12 and 14 are plastic it just wouldnt work as well
So it's basically the same as the Atomic Shift?

no the shift sucks
@@diloniasjones8828 Did you try it?
@@froznfire9531 I've ridden shifts for two years of tours now with zero problems. Not sure what happened with that other guy.
@@allenpiper1935 they have bad pre release if your trying to land switch or butter but for frontside skiing they are fine.
