I like the picture you showed from the book of the hill and red brushy grasses (@ time 16:30 ). It helps to understand what is depicted on the map as those multicolored hexes scattered all over the terrain. Haven't played this one but I've picked it up thanks to your video series.
I was lucky finding that book at a used bookstore. Anytime I play a new war game, I usually look for books to read on that topic! This system is my favorite ACW system; it’s so smooth mechanically and feels authentic.
