Always wanted one , I believe they had two different transmissions available a 8 speed and an 16 speed ? Depending on application mostly road compared to mostly construction , logging or farm use. Please correct on transmissions going by very old memory.
That 'Demag' loader was a nice piece of equipment, unless the film was 'speeded up' it had the same responses as a contemporary JCB.....The 'slide was just too heavily engineered though.
I have used many 'loaders' and driven some Unimogs..(I own one) But I would not use the loader in the film without at least 250kg ballast at the back of the Unimog.....for balance and safety.
