I love that tiny bit of exasperation between both Jamie and John. Like they both know rationally they are being foolish but they are feeling what they are feeling and can’t quite figure out how to stop it. And they trust each other enough to let them see the bruised feelings and still show up for each other. John isn’t just there for Claire, he would know Jamie would have been a mess. Masterfully played by both of them.
LJ was pulling Jamie's leg by calling Claire my dear in front of him. Jamie is doing the right thing, he need to stand/voice out to them, enough is enough regardless how LJ sleekily translated his ungenthemen action. I 100% support u, Jamie. U r my man.❤❤❤
John is not into Claire like that. He always called her my dear or Claire. He is NOT and has never flirted with Claire even to poke at Jaime. HE CALLED HER MRS. FRASER IN THE END, only to confirm between two good friends, just how happy he is to be able to call her Mrs. FRASER once more. #ThinkOfTheDeer❤
Love this scene. John is a gentleman. Claire is not the only lady he called my dear. He did the same with Briana and I am sure with other ladies. Jamie is acting like a territorial idiot.
I love this. That whiny Jamie sulking while the two adult friends thank each for saving the other. Love Lord John. As Caitriona Balfe said Jamie acted like an idiot. 😂
She said that ? OMG. So right. Jamie behaved like a douchebag. Lord John is my male fave character even over Jamie. John is a pure quality class man, kind, handsome , sexy and smart. Top tier. 🤩😍
I understand Jamie, it must be hard to accept that they have a connection after they told him they were fucking him, he's trying hard and it's not easy, I'm glad he held back, he loves Claire too much.
Jamie's behaviour is actually very much in character. In the books Jamie tells Claire more than once that all Frasers are insanely jealous and he's the worst of them.
why would y’all cut this scene? 😩the acting was so great. I love me some Jamie, but I love Lord John too. Jamie..get over it babe. This man raised your son & saved Claire’s life. however, I do understand why he’s still upset though. I must admit this episode made me cry a lot. The acting was amazing, the score/music was great too, seeing old faces & more. Great episode, great acting👏🏽👏🏽
When I say they cut the scene I mean I wanted to see the moment the camera panned back onto Claire’s face as she was crying and as John walked out. It wasn’t completely cut (as in the dialogue between Claire & John), but the scene was cut short… I really like to see how great actors do in scenes & sometimes the “silent acting” (that’s what I call it. lol) is everything. Something that can be & is underrated by viewers.
Jamie needs to get over this. John is a dear, dear friend from decades ago, and he is no competitor for Claire’s affection, seeing as he had the hots for you. He saved her life, Jamie. They thought you were dead and they were drunk grieving. Stop this animosity. Get the picture out of your head.
Thank you! He is acting like he was completely faithful to Claire their whole relationship! I think him marrying her opp is way worst! John was a good friend to both of them and even raised his son for him.

@@pbjer2q-hj3yr They didn't do anything wrong. That's an interesting statement. Just like Jamie said Claire thinks with her body and not her brain And Lord John took advantage of a situation. Just like in the book it becomes harder and harder for him to keep his oath on forgiving her, Yet he does
@@rosew3825 The show didn't include the line after Jamie tells Claire that she thinks with her body, that it is because she's a surgeon and uses her hands to touch people. In the show, it came across just as Claire interpreted it. And let's not forget that Jamie slept 3 times with 16 yo Geneva when he was in his mid 40s, had sex with his house maid and married the woman who almost killed Claire, while knowing fully well that Claire was still alive. As far as Claire and John knew, Jamie was dead and they were married. - - Claire told him that she decided not to die after being shut, because she knew how she felt when she thought him dead and didn't want to do that to him. Again, Jamie is the jerk in this situation because if not for John, he would have returned to find a dead Claire.
@rosew3825 there is no oath on forgiving her. And they didn't do anything wrong, they were married. It was a one time exception and wouldn't have been repeated as long as they would have been married. The lord, after all, is NOT into women.
Jamie has all the right to be piss off considering the absurd confrontation he was informed by LJ. Jamie aware enough Claire may suffer from his fake death news and he was trying his very best to come back to Claire asap. God know his beloved wife would have slept with his best friend in such unreasonably short time (2 months in the book, i guess) for the sake of protection, or over grief, or over drunk, or whatsoever. For LJ, down his heart knows Claire was forced to married him for protection, timely decided to offer consolation to Claire, when she was devastating and desperately need it the most. I mean, LJ is an experienced married man both in women and man, don't he know what was he doing??? Not to mention the so called heartfelt discussion in the next morning, it sounds so awkward and so hypocrite to me. For me, LJ deserved all this backfire and he should feel lucky not to be killed by Jamie, as an outraged yet heartbroken husband, who loves his wife more than anything else, chose to forgive as far as he can. Honestly, im consciously can not accept anything, or anybody to get between Jamie and Claire, im just saying my very heartfelt opinion from a stubborn, high dignity and hardcore outlander fan. No offend.
LJG in other hands would not be the same, David Berry's charisma and charm adds all the best to this character, that is why, he is liked so much. Sam, David handsome gentlemen looking to favour Cait's beauty no doubt. 3 striking, attractive persons no doubt.
John Grey is my favorite character in the entire show (and the books), and Jamie really needs to accept the fact that he's in love with John too. It's absolutely clear every time he looks at him and Claire saw it the first time she saw them both together. Now that John and Claire are finally close, here's to hoping season 8 finally puts them all together and John finally gets to be happy!
John is not into Claire like that. He always called her my dear or Claire. He is NOT and has never flirted with Claire even to poke at Jaime. HE CALLED HER MRS. Honestly I think Jamie is letting his anger get in the way of seeing that they did it to help each other and because they wanted to be close to him he needs to get over himself
