Cheklsea Please I really need your advice, I finally meet my long distance boyfriend in person in Africa and we are getting to know each other, My long distance boyfriend meet my African parents and ask permission from them to go with him and see his country and also meet his family too But my African parents are forcing me to tell my long distance boyfriend to give them money and also pay my bride price and marry me when we are still getting to know ourselves and we have not decide any marriage, Please I am worried what should I do ?
You have to explain to your parents and make them understand, 1. Everything is not money, there are things that need to be done before getting married, and this is one of them, getting to know each other before deciding, secondly the idea of you going to see and know his family also before deciding to het married is good, so don’t be pressured by your parents, you have that explanation to make to them.
