Hi guys. Are these things safe to fit under the bonnet of a classic car? I’m seeing them mentioned several times recently in car groups, as most fires in cars are in the engine. But opening the bonnet to use a standard extinguisher just fan oxygen at the flames and make it worse. If you recommend fitting them, is there another method other than that cage thingy? I’m afraid it might fall out of the at speed bumps, or off roading? I wouldn’t want it to move, then get hit by the fan and explode when there’s no fire. Cheers!
Hi Julie , Thank you for your enquiry. The Fire Ball for engine bay are different in size and have a ball holder from the top and bottom so the ball will not move even if it rolled down G-d forbid. elidefire.com.au/product/small-ball-400-grams/ please see photo. If you need any further information please contact us at anytime. Thank you 🙏

why not bush fires?
It's designed for indoor use (without windy). And automatic extinguished even no body there.
@@saltpepperketchup7082 You'd need one the size of a yute.
Maybe helicopter drop them in above bushfires to regain some control, then normal firefighters on the ground have more chance?
