Yeah, Voight was a bad cop corruption had consumed him until after he got outta prison and became a Sergeant and helped find the Murderer who killed Casey girlfriend. Both set their differences aside Voight became a good cop in Chicago PD
So this is why Voight went to prison?!?! If you followed Chicago PD from the beginning, Hank was brought back by the "Ivory Tower" to run the unit and take down other dirty cops.
This changes my entire perspective of the character from the show Chicago PD; all this time I thought he was falsely arrested and accused of something he didn't do and was proven innocent, given this is how his spin-off series started It definitely changes my viewpoint, I saw him as such a badass to root for but now I'm not so sure, I still love the series but now i'm a bit jaded towards him! Lol 😁😉💯🔥👍🏻
@jp-fk5ke I always thought that was some sort of cover he was using as a means of getting into the underground of criminal activity to find out what they are about so that he can use the information he gets for his taskforce to stop whatever major crime that was taking place in the city, boy am I quite the naive guy! Lol 😁🤣😉💯🔥👍🏻

Nah, just US cops in general. It never matters if a US cop is “white”, Hispanic, African-American or anything else; as soon as they get their badge and substitute penis (gun) then they’re all part of the thick blue liars gang.
If viloight was a real father he would have Let his son face the charges. I know it looks bad for the son of a cop to end up in a high-end prison With potential people who will harm him. But Innocent people should have to suffer with life problems
@@agenthound9708they are different shows but shown on Wednesday nights Chicago Fire was the first show to start then Chicago PD and Chicago Med sometimes they have crossovers and show characters of all shows on same episode as all take place in Chicago
Bottom line, Voight does what ever he damn well pleases to take down criminals, laws be damned. Laws that he took an oath to uphold. Even got his only friend killed. What amazes me the most are the comments about this show on YT, people gushing about what a great guy he is, etc etc. And the rest of his unit.
I’ve watched the Chicago shows for so long. I’ve actually forgotten that Voight was introduced as a crooked cop.

yeah voight is so badass

That is textbook development of a spoiled man child with a powerful father.

I ain't even know that till now. Thanks for the info.
To think everybody knew that he was a dirty cop and yet he was still in inbthe Forse. And to make matters worse he gets released and his old job back!

You never noticed he was dirty from episode 1 it looked like he was dirty. They even show that the gang member knew him for charge street taxes

Voight never feared bad guys, but he did fear the firefighter
so in the chicago PD timeline voight gets also arrested or… is this like “a different chicago type timeline”?
He gets out that’s why Pd is running witch means he never like Antonio 💀
They cleared him to catch a gang member
IAD figures they can put him and make him useful for work some say he was already working for them and his cover was a very corrupt cop
There is no way that the police man is the bad guy
Love bad boys Hank and Al
what episode
To be honest he really isn’t a dirty cop

He's still an amazing cop. His type of policing is... unorthodox, but it gets results
Was this before Chicago pd
Yes. This was season 3 through 6 in season 1 back in 2012. Chicago PD premiered January 2014
Chicago Fire came before Chicago PD and this was where introduced Voight before Chicago Pd aired officially in 2014
Casey Herman Severide Caley
This show is pathetic, the firefighters are just sooo virtuous and amazing at all times 😂
