If you visit Cyprus between January and March you have another option. Snow-Skiing at Troodos. It's less than an hours drive north from Limassol.

Taghazout was great. The beaches are fantastic. We stayed in Riu palace the is also a Hilton and a Hyatt hotel as well as the AirBnb in the village.

Thanks for the video but are you sure it is not raining in Thai and Maldives in December? I dont want to spend 3000£flight to find the rain...It doesn't matter if it is 28degree with raining all thz day.

December - April is dry season in the Maldives and Thailand is a pretty big country so can vary but generally it’s cooled down a little in December (still between 20-30C) and monsoon season is July - October. I’ve spent all of December in Thailand and I don’t think it rained once
