Camp Bowie Military Base - Then & Now (Brownwood, TX)

Camp Bowie was a WWII training center located south of Brownwood, Texas. During operations from 1940-1946 it grew to be one of the largest in the state.
This video compares the area of Camp Bowie using historical satellite imagery and photos overlaid onto Google Earth.
Much of Camp Bowie is now gone and aside from a few buildings and many of the original roads, you would hardly know there was once a huge military installation there.
