Dude! I made one of these once for a friend in art trade. Never could code the Homing Attack to interact with guide lines so this was a interesting thing to see. Also never though of placing spikes as traps. Very interesting.
Thank you. Well, this game was made in Rpg Maker 2003, so I was very limited in what I could actually make. Nowadays I would do it better and not so clunky. But now more than ever it's better to use anything else for a platformer than the Rpg maker.
this is cool holy spit
good shit!!
OH MY GOODNESS HOW??? THIS IS INSANE HOW DO YOU DO THIS IN A 21 YEAR OLD RPG ENGINE
It was years back, now I would do it even better.
For example, the jumping is no good. But I have moved on to other engines.
It was because this was the only game engine I was familiar with and I knew a lot about it. You can see more RPG Maker 2003 game concepts I made on my channel.
wow!! this is really impressive! i didn’t know this could be possible with rm2k3! good job!! :D
it would be cool if you share this demo even if it is not finished
Maybe I will but the demo doesn't have the best controls.
Nowadays if I'd make this in Rpg maker I'd make it a bit different, especially the jump.
Dude, this is awesone! Can you share the demo? And you are still making this game?
Wow this is really cool!
Thank you!
I would have finished this game if my hard disc hadn't been corrupted.
@@Saranoske sorry to hear! What a major loss! The level design was very complex with lots of variation and cool looking triggers (Knuckles and such)
Cool
Share the demo!!! :)
Maybe it's more enjoyable just to watch it.
Nowadays I would definitely change at least the jump.
@@Saranoske but sometimes you just like simple things, also explore that map by yourself would be nice, please if you change your mind share that demo
out of all the things rpg maker could be used for, i never would have guessed "sonic fangame"
this is Cool
It's an old game I made years ago but never shared.
It's not perfect but I've tried what was possible with Rpg Maker physics.
