Boosting Fertilization and Sowing with Latest Tractor and Equipment | La Coronella Farm | FS 22 |#64

Welcome back to the La Coronella Farm Timelapse. Today, our focus shifts to post-harvest field management. Our first task is to fertilize the fields with organic fertilizer. To expedite this process across our extensive fields, we've invested in new equipment: a KAWECO slurry tank paired with a BOMECH Multi 4XL spraying system. This setup is hitched to the CLAAS XERION 4200 SADDLE TRAC tractor and transported to the initial field.
Initially, we utilize digestate, a byproduct from processing cut beets in our biogas plant, as fertilizer. Delivery is facilitated by a MAN truck and tank. Once the digestate supply is depleted, we transition to using slurry from our barn.
Following fertilization of several fields, we transition to barley sowing. Our new tractor assumes a pivotal role in this phase, prompting us to procure additional equipment: a seed and granular fertilizer container alongside a sowing module boasting an 18-meter working width. This setup enables us to sow without prior soil cultivation. With all equipment attached to the tractor, we proceed to the initial field and commence barley sowing.
