right now living in Japan and I admire these people very much. they are honest and kind. I love this video. Thanks. This is something people need to know. I also try to make vlogs about this beautiful country. If you have time you can watch.
"Such a great list! I love how diverse these places are. Can't wait to check out all of them when I finally visit Japan. Mount Fuji is definitely topping my must-see list! 🎌"
If you are going to hike Mt Fuji, my three thoughts are: 1. REALLY be prepared for any weather. The weather on Mt Fuji changes very fast. I went from hiking in shorts and a t-shirt to need full rain gear (jack, pants, and backpack cover), then adding a base layer in the Mt.Fuji Tenpaigū bathroom. 2. If you can, do it in the middle of the week. There will just be less people. 3. Do the overnight hike to reach the summit for sunrise. It may just be the decreased oxygen, but the view at sunrise is breathtaking. One quick warning is that A LOT of people do this hike and it is going to be slow going to the rim of the volcano. If you aren't ready for a long, slow walk, you shouldn't do it.
Beautiful mount, inhabitable with many places to discover, Tokyo just behind an eye. True glacier with many resources, diamond in and unforgettable landscapes. From North Africa
@@ashakydd1 yeah indeed I was really lucky, I was on the correct side of the train and it was a clear sunny day with a decent amount of snow on top, I could hear people wowing in the train
A great video. I definitely will be staying in the district, seeing some of the sights, and climbing fuji on my upcoming holiday, after watching this video.
Top in my bucket list destinations are like Cruise Ship, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Turkey, Canada, North and South America, North India, Dubai, Philipines and Indonesia. 2nd bucket list is Europe, Africa, Russia, Sri Lanka.
I took the Kachi Kachi ropeway up Mt Tenjo and had a great view in January, then I went to Fuji-Q and the view from the top of Fujiyama was incredible.
Thank you for the video guide. If we take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagoya, is it the right or left side of the train that will give us a better view toward the mountain?
While I was in the United States Marine Corps I was stationed at Mount Fuji Japan. I was stationed there in 1979 when a typhoon was forming and it was decided to switch my unit out with another before typhoon tip hit. I went back to Okinawa Japan to ride out the storm only too find out that 13 Marines died from a fire during the storm. Today is memorial day and I would like to take a moment and remember those Marines who died a terrable death. I would also like to rember all of the Marines who were burnt but survived there horrible wounds. Semper Fi brothers.
Thank very much. Since our staff travel have been travelling all over Japan for over a decade now, we have had quite a few opportunities to photography Mt. Fuji.
I can't recommend May, Fuji was hiding all the time behind rain clouds and heavy, heavy fog. March/early April was much better, now to hope for a good sight mid-November!
Hello, I booked a ticket to Tokyo at the end of May 2023. The plane lands at Terminal 1 of NRT Airport. We will take JAL from Terminal 2 to Nagoya. There is only one hour of transit time. is it enough? Where can I get help if I miss the flight? Thank you
Japan, another beautiful place I would love to visit, next Cabo Wabo. ( I think I spelt Cabo Wabo right?) I would love to climb Mt. Fugi though and snowboard all the way down. By Dinell Deann Hood.
Not as crowded as summer, but still a large number of people at the most popular spots. The shots in this video from the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station were taken during October.
It's called the Chureito Pagoda. The closest train station is Shimo-Yoshida Station on the Fujikyu Railway Line. Here's more info www.japan-guide.com/e/e6917.html
Mount Fuji tends to be more visible during colder seasons than during summer, so hopefully you will get to see a clear view of Mount Fuji during early-mid December.
I started planning climbing it but then saw a video and it shined on me what a volcano was 😂 Usually I hike for the nature, gras, trees, smells, streams and raw terrain. Fuji is just a rock field, with roads, not trails, full of people. Totally off putting.
Please be aware that in January a majority of the hike will be through snow and the mountain huts along the way will be closed. If you decide to attempt this winter hike of Fuji make sure to bring proper alpine mountaineering gear (ax, crampons, etc...) and have experience with serious winter hiking.
@@japanguide Thank you so much! Yes we've been planning the trip for a couple months now, and we've decided to bring majority of our mountain gear, sans belay system and ropes, we're also planning on climbing via Fujinomiya Track from the south since it gives us the best chance getting to the summit in the shortest amount of time, I'm just hoping that the road to the southern 5th Station will be opened.

I saw it in a dream. It is ideal geographically And with man made Topography helps sustain Refuge For refugees of all species. For people like me it might as well be on another planet. Thank you for this, we have increased our time to stay at Mount Fuji based on your video.
Hope you will have a great time there!
Brilliant video. Wish I'd seen it before I visited Mt Fuji (Nov 2019) but nonetheless our day trip to 5th Station was magical.
Wonderful Mt. Fuji!
Thank you for the great video, packed with priceless information.

If you happen to be near Mt Fuji during the summer you can also get good views if you wake up at 5am or so. Worth it.
What do you think is the best season to view mount fuji?
i saw mount fuji from the shinkansen travelling from osaka to tokyo in last november!
I've been to Japan twice and gone passed Mt Fuji 7 or 8 times and I've never seen it in its entirety at one time. You are lucky.
