Wouldn't it be wonderful to have this type of comedy again???
It would, but unfortunately this type of talent just does not exist these days
We need it so very badly
YES
GOD I WISH
@@a98cer so true!
I love when Steve plays a mobster 😎
27:07 "Brooks you're doing another take". Great blooper!
The dog food sketch with Tim Conway was Halarious I was laughing so hard I was crying.. Tim Conway was one of my favorite physical comedy guys.. He was brilliant..
~~~
One of the funniest shows of the 70’s . True clean comedy !
70 80 90
I grew up watching the show, really miss seeing them, they were the best.
Of all the QnA segments I find this one the best. Her momentary drunk impression, tarzan yell, good questions, and then to top it all off Steve, Tim and Vicki coming to carry her off.
38:25 The dog sketch just crack me up because is so relatable, my Missy thinks the same about dog food, she could eat literally anything else, anything!!, but wet dog food, and who could blame her? 🤣🤣🤣
Always loved Carol and everyone on Carols show. Much Love and Laughs everyone 😅
I was born in 1972. I couldn't wait to watch the Carol Burnette Show. I loved it.
So.many neat outfits at start of her shows
The good old days. Steve Lawrence was not only a great singer but he was terrific in all of The Carol Burnett Show appearances and skits
Steve Lawrence is one of the most talented singers who can play any act and best of all his voice is one of a kind like Frank Sinatra
@@estergee8460 I agree 100%. And an incredible partner with Eydie Gorme. Sad they are both gone now.
He was a comedic genius. Tim Conway is among that roster of comedians (I'm a guitarist and I know who the greats are like Hendrix, Clapton, Holdsworth, Montgomery, etc...) Tim Conway is in with Peter Sellers, Robin Williams and so on, he was unbelievable.
😅
One of the greatest shows ever
Gorgeous dress, I've always loved Bob Mackie's designs, and his signature fragrance 'Mackie'
Magic show
“Some parts fell off” lmao 🤣
An episode featuring Steve Lawrence. Bound to be a good show.
I agree.
They had him on regularly, so the cast and crew must have been fond of Steve. Understandable-- he could sing and also be funny in sketches, and do impressions of famous film actors.
@@eduardo_corrochio I always remember him from the episode where he was a P.I. and he was dictating the events of the night and then found out the machine wasn't turned on, and had to start all over again. This is the one where Carol Burnett was the femme fatal, and they both shot each other many many times, hilariously.
@@KoshN Oh, that was their spoof of the classic film noir Double Indemnity. Good one!
Here's Parts 1 and 2:
@@eduardo_corrochio Yeah. I would've put up the links but it seems that whenever I do, my comment gets deleted by YT.
God bless Carol Burnett!!! 👍👍
Never missed one show..those where the days.
Honestly seeing this I can see why it would be apart of the last season, the writing's just a shadow of what it was before. BUT I mean come on, you can only do so much, and the fact the show is this quality even after 11 years of being on air is a testament to the sheer talent and chemistry this show's crew had. ❤️
Genial... 👍👍👍
Excelente 👍
We don't forget Carol and friends... 2022
Buen video, muy bueno...
Awesome Carol Burnette shows
At 1:21 during Q&A a young lady wants to meet Bob Mackie so Carol brings him on stage. What a rare moment. Although, it got a wee bit creepy when the girl asked him if he got her fan letter, and he said he did, and then she said "Are you going to answer it?" 😆
Plus, I always wanted to know what the Family (Eunice, Ed and Mama) drank from those fake beer cans, and today I learned what it was because an audience member asked Carol. Made me very happy.
That fan was a bit off for sure. How could she not know Bob was gay? Everyone knew back then!
@@dannydougin3925 Yes, I'm sure they knew. She must have been thick in the noggin-- I mean, a man in the fashion biz is hardly a suitable target for romance with a girl. :D
I was thinking the exact same thing. That girl was a bit too creepy, stalky, and desperate. Maybe she didn't know Bob was gay, but you still don't approach strangers like that. I felt awkward for him.
@@ThirdOfJune4444 True. This encounter almost had a vibe of the 1970s thriller "Play Misty for Me". I mean, was this girl here only because he hadn't written her back? Wow. Yes, I felt for Bob too. He had to have been thinking, Get this girl away from me.
@@eduardo_corrochio I've never seen that movie, but I couldn't agree with you more. You could tell Bob couldn't get away from her fast enough. I think he handled it very well by telling her he writes back to all his fans. What else could he say in front of his boss, production company, and national television? That woman should've been escorted out of the studio, in my opinion. I like your profile name, by the way. I don't know if it's your real name, or if it was taken from a Seinfeld episode when Elaine made up an imaginary boyfriend. 😂
Great
Que maravilla
LOVE Tim Conway. He is flipping hilarious
They were the best
A gift from heaven ‼️
I grew up on this kind of television o how do I miss the good ol days
That plane one was great. They were great.
It was so great....we need to SEE hee every time
Classic comedy nothing like what simulates it now
Good😉
Thank you for the upload. The acting is still spectacular.
I wish we had shows like this now .
❤❤❤ Carol Burnett
Excelente, gran artista...
I love these shows. I cracked up with Tim Conway and the dog.
Que linda, regia, excelente show full diversión 😁
Extraordinaria.... Muy divertida... 👏👏👏
Excelente.... 👏👏👏
Interesante muy bueno... 👏👏👏
I wish Steve Lawrence would have been a regular. He was a incredible actor and singer and also had an incredible partner in Eydie Gorme. I am sad that he died on March 7, 2024. David Lawrence said he was very sick and didn't recognize people at the end. Rest in peace with Eydie and Michael.
The outfit that Carol Burnett wore in the "Diner Skit" she wore that same ensemble with Maggie Smith in S8 E10 and the year was 1974.
Excelente
Bob Mackie was handsomely attired!
Actores de comedias muy originales
Exelente
RIP Steve Lawrence
Funny 😁😁😁
This is good comedy .So is Red Skeleton
They couldn't make shows like this again if their lives depended on it.
So funny 😆
Carol is so witty, ad-libbing on stage.
bonita comedia😅
❤
sanity reigns
Good
As a Complimentary Gift ALL viewers will receive a years supply of Vortex Dog Food for your pet & btw Cats Love it too♥
Loved the last one with the "Dogfood" He keeps refering to the dog as a female. Clearly its not :)
I was thinking the same thing. Dolly seems to have an extra part. LOL!
He he was cute when he was younger Bob Mackie I’ve got a couple of tops I bought form him
I have never seen Bob Mackey before and always wondered what he looked like.
Me,too.
CBS=Carol burnett show
Change my mind
👏👏👏
welcome.
💖💖💖
gracioso video
great video .. However i do always skip all intermissions and go straight to sketch 6:46
You miss some very interesting stuff if you skip over Carol's Q&A sessions with her audience. But I can understand wanting to get right to the sketches sometimes.
LMAO!!!
For once they got TIM to loose it a bit lol
👏
🤗🤗🤗❤️💚💚
Season 11 Episode 20 2-26-78
Did "Mercy" seem a little.... off?
"Dolly" the dog is called a "girl" in that skit, but the dog is male.
Always Tim Conway
👍👍👍👍👍
😂😂😂
What was the cut part with the elevator backdrop?
Dolly told Tim to keep it.
👍👍
Why do they eliminate the last skit in some of the shows like this one?
Waooi
It's obvious that Carol was correct. It was time to put the series to bed. The writers had no place else to go.
modern norma desmond and max
Not a full episode, why was Carol wearing the old coat at closing ? And Steve only appeared 1 time in the airplane skit, at least 10 minutes missing...
😚
Like
DID HARVEY KORMAN LEAVE THE SHOW BEFORE THE LAST SEASON????
🙃🙃🙃
Great show, but I usually fast forward through the late Tim Conway's parts. I did watch the Diner sketch though.
This I cannot understand. Tim Conway was wonderful, but tastes differ.
poor Bob... talk about uncomfortable...
edited again?
Yup, but at least it wasn't falsely described as a full episode.
DJ
I though Dolly Parton was a girl NOT a dude
Miedo
The distributor of this show could have paid the copyrights of the song steve Lawrence sang. I'm disappointed . I expect to see a full show
WHEN T.V. WAS T.V. MAGA!!!
