One of my favorites on this album! Though it's hard to pick an actual favorite! This album is just 10/10 👌the only song I kinda don't like on that album is "Calm Me Down" cuz it makes me feel just kinda 😬 it's not even a bad song, just not a fan
Calm me down is suppose to do that, Ryan is very intelligent with his words and the rhyming scheme, the song is meant to make someone feel a certain type of way. But it only depends on what type of problems You personally are going through. *Calm me down* ..
@@AxelaMusicOfficial no yeah, I get what you're saying, I guess I'm just not too big of the fan of the songs that have more sexual undertones. But that's just my personal preference. I can absolutely appreciate the lyrical work and tone of the song.
I can hear it... Maybe Ryan was looking at his old songs and sampling some guitar pieces for his next album, "The Sticks" and he said: "hmm, I like this. Let's use it", and then Molly said "let's change it a bit..." And then they made Business Man!!!!!
My interpretation of this song: Some insecure dude makes a religion, everyone listens and obeys so they can get into a "good place", and not to be a good person... Ik I'm bad at knowing what songs mean but this is just what I think
okay but this song is underrated

Maybe it is just about being an actor. I don't think it is any deeper than that.
