2022 will be a different game
I really hope so but I highly doubt it. There is something fundamentally wrong with Kenyan voters. The voters highly value vulgarity. Firstly, politics in Kenya attracts corrupt, uncivil, uncouth, crude and vulgar people. With their foul and vulgar mouths, they harass refined and polished aspirants off the stage. Real ladies and gentlemen tend to stay away from it. So it starts on a wrong note. Then those who que to vote tend to be low and lower middle class people. People with little to no education. People with questionable capacity to think logically. They follow their hearts rather than their brains, because their brains do not yield much to be followed. They are "feelings" people. It is a terrible combination leading to election of the worst type of leaders. People like millie odhiambo and that other malaya from Garissa among several other crooks. And into their hands we hand over the power to give direction to this country.
