I have few pair of A20’s And one A10. Sound quality and ANR is almost identical. The A30 is awful as far as sound and ANR in GA. The reviews all over Amazon. I think A20’s is the sweet spot!

Most pilots say control box feels like Chinese quality compared with the previous version. Why is this? Too many reviews stating that, so it’s hard to ignore this statement. Also some pilots say there is a static sound and weird higher pitch voice sound. All that together doesn’t make them good headphones.
I haven't noticed a lower quality feel to the control box, but I don't mess with it very much. I would say though, that I think the quality is better than the A20's. The only sound issues I've had are the hollow sounds on the ground.
I've had the ProFlight 2 for a while and it has a similar "cheaper" control box that the new A30 has compared to my old A20s. the switches all feel "loose" and the plastic cheaper... but the reality is it works just as well, it isn't like the switches move on their own or have broken off etc. I wish for $1000-1300 these headsets from Bose kept their feel quality up but as for the box they do feel cheaper, but so far it seems to not have affected usability.

Thank you, glad you like the videos! I use GoPro's for the cockpit views and an iPhone for the "B-roll" footage. I edit on Final Cut Pro.
