Dr Rutland always brings it. Always giving glory & honor to Jesus. Always giving thanks to the Lord for all that He has done....Always reminding us to be thankful. However; the charismatic movement is wrought w/many theological flaws. 1. The moment you become born again is the moment you become SPIRIT FILLED. U GO FROM BEING SPIRITUALLY DEAD TO BEING ALIVE. A MUCH GREATER MIRACLE THAN SPEAKING IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE. Speaking in tongues is a sign for unbelievers Pentecost happened and usherd in the rushing wind of the Holy SPIRIT to dwell in man. Since Acts 2 God shows up MIGHTILY TO INDWELL IN THE HEARTS OF MAN--THE INVITATION IS ONGOING.
Brilliant!!!, only as our Jesus is Brilliant. THANK YOU. And Thank you Jesus for who You are!! May we keep on Trusting You, and more, like never before. YOÙ ARE still in CONTROL! AMEN
Remember only way to repent and be saved by Christ act 11:14-18 just follow only the original gospel tradition teaching not churches but Jesus will guide you personally to the end John 10:1-6, zeph 3:9!
Pastor, someone is using your name as a scam to donate to an orphanage in Nigeria. I complimented your 7-minute sermon on a let us worship website and a reply was given as if it were you prophesying over my life and asking me to donate to an orphanage in Nigeria with a phone number and WhatsApp! I hope you or your staff can let me know you received this because another lady told me she got the same message
Ewwww. Mark refers to us as Charismatics. I have not heard that word in years ! I say we are Pentecostals.........GRACE Pentecostals. To my way of thinking, Charismatics is the WFM.........or “ name it and claim it movement “.Biblically unsound.
@@debbabbit9283 Opposites in beliefs as one is scriptural and the other is not, but…….yes, there are some blessings from each side. Ohhhhh, I DO miss Mark from when he was Asst. Pastor at our huge Pentecostal church here in Atlanta. Alison is recovering from a serious spinal surgery. Please pray for her. They are also in their new home near Travis,
@@carolcole570 Thank you Carol. I'll pray too. About doctrinal differences, I've found a good spot of appreciation for both though I diverge here and there. I hope to find grace while avoiding some excessivness in the word of faith, the anything goes grace stuff. I get off balance when I'm annoyed. But they should know we are Christians by our love. Anyway, God bless you Sister.
@@debbabbit9283 In our Pentecostal church, we are very much against “ anything goes grace stuff “ and we are very much against “WOF stuff “, too. We do not ever preach it, but try to balance everything with growth in the Lord. Most “ young in the Lord “ Christians go thru a period in their walk where they lean in both of these directions……thinking it’s cool, but with understanding of God’s Word and growth, eventually come out of it to walk a balanced life. When I first started out in my Pentecostal church 48 years ago, I had JUST become a Christian and was a big time WOF. I got gallbladder disease and my pastor almost dragged me to a surgeon himself, because of my young foolishness. He virtually saved my life. This is when I spiritually started my growth in being balanced and very scriptural. And leaning over to the “ anything goes Grace “ way is JUST as dangerous, too. Have a nice week, and keep looking at Damascus…..Israel…….and UP, Deb !❤️
Elkanah . . . had two wives: The certain man mentioned in verse one, whose name was Elkanah, had two wives. Polygamy was a fact of life in that whole part of the ancient world. However, the Bible never puts polygamy in a favorable light; strife and conflict always characterize polygamous families in the Bible. In this account, we will see an intense, competitive relationship between the two wives, Peninnah (who had children) and Hannah, who did not. “The custom of those times permitted polygamy; but wherever there was more than one wife, we find the peace of the family greatly disturbed by it.
