Kinda strange that JARED GOFF is getting absolutely NO LOVE what so ever from the media for MVP. Goff has more passing yards this yr than Lamar or Josh. Has a higher completion % and a better team record than those guys as well. Am I missing something?
"Allen has done more with less" Am I missing something? Can someone explain to me how Allen has done more than Lamar this year? Lamar beats him in literally every category. I get you could make the argument that it's a narrative award, but it shouldn't be the case that the fact that Lamar has won MVP before hurts his chances for it this year
@@TDG796 Not every category. Lamar has more sacks, more turnovers, more negative plays. He has more snaps and played one more game. If Allen plays the last game their numbers are virtually identical except for rushing yards. Lamar has much better players.
@@PhillyBoy1234 I was really just trying to point out that saying Allen has done more with less is straight up not correct. And I'm not saying this is an easy MVP decision at all. These 2 are very close IMO. They had similar team records as well. And also 2 things: 1. I think Lamar has better weapons, but this year they had similarly great defenses, similarly great O-Line play, and their RB's had the same amount of TD's. So saying Lamar has much better players I think is a stretch. 2. I get it was bc the game was meaningless, but Allen playing 1 less game shouldn't strengthen his MVP argument. It's still part of the season. For example, we wouldn't give the MVP to someone who has 75% of the stats of Allen and Lamar but only played 50% of the games. Overall I think it's very close and I would not want to have to vote for this. I'd still lean towards Lamar, mainly because of the stats, and the fact that the Ravens crushed the Bills head to head.
@ That is crazy. The ravens have 4 first team all pro’s and 2 second team all pros. 9 pro bowlers to 2. Josh Allen is only all pro on the bills. Derrick Henry had close to 1,000 more yards rushing than James cook and same amount of tds. Ravens should have gone 17-0 with that team. They lose to trash raiders and browns. People look at Lamar’s stats and see the 41-4 td to int ratio with 900 rush yards and that settles it for them. You have to look at total tds and total turnovers. Lamar has more fumbles, more sacks, more turnovers in more than 100 snaps.
Ryan isn’t just arguing passionately for a case he believes in, he’s downright lying: “Bills have 3 more wins” - yeah, sure. Anyone can see they finished with 13 wins. Did they rest starters? Sure. Yet they also nearly lost to the Pats IN Buffalo when they had seeding they had a chance towards. Pats at home could’ve forced the L even if the Bills still had some seeding they were fighting for. So we can’t hand them 14 wins. “Josh Allen’s attempts to turnover ratio is unheard of and the best in the history of the league.” - It’s not even better than 2024 Lamar. - Allen at 483 pass attempts to 6 INTs = 80.5:1 in attempts to t/o ratio. - Lamar at 474 pass attempts to 4 INTs = 118.5:1 in attempts to t/o ratio. But hey maybe he meant total passing AND rushing attempts, right? Still a lie. - Josh Allen at 483 pass attempts + 102 rush attempts + 1 receiving attempt = 586 total attempts. Along with 6 INTs + 2 fumbles lost = 8 total turnovers. 586/8 = 73.25:1 in attempts/turnover ratio. Yet historically, it’s an absolute lie? 2018 Aaron Rodgers with 597 pass + 43 rush + 2 INTs + 3 Fumbles lost = 640/5 = 128:1… - Mahomes in 2020 with 588 pass + 62 rush + 2 FL + 6 INTs = 650/8 = 81.25:1 in attempts/turnover ratio. And those are just within the last decade, let alone history. FWIW he does beat out 2024 Lamar in that category. Lamar was 474 pass attempts + 139 rush attempts = 613 total attempts. Along with 4 INTs and 5 fumbles lost = 9 total turnovers. 613/9 = 68.111. So he beats out 2024 Lamar by 5 attempts per. Yet Lamar has had multiple seasons above at least 64 attempts/turnover. While Allen doesn’t have any other season close in that regard.

This year however, it should be Lamar 100%. Also, the same thing happened to jokic the year he won a ring in 2023. He won two straight mvps and he should have won 3 in a row but they had to give it to embid. @ShinefortheCam let's say that true. STILL, the HISTORIC numbers and the success the Lamar has put up stands out more. And the Ravens had a harder schedule than the Bills. Lamar’s stats are superior to Allen’s against tougher competition. Lamar is the MVP
3 more wins? Ok made me go look at the records. Buffalo is 13-4. Baltimore is 12-5. I’m sure one game difference can’t hurt the MVP vote that much right?

That's why you sitting at a desk begging for a job Rex! He has ONE more win pal. Every game counts. He's also 2-3 vs playoff teams this year while Lamar is 2 or 3 games at least above 500 vs playoff teams playing in one of the hardest divisions! Context matters damnit!
Lamar Jackson’s supporting cast has been consistently drafted and has excelled, all under his leadership. While Derrick Henry is a fantastic addition to the team, Amari Cooper is also an important asset. It's interesting to note the highlights they showcased, clearly pushing for Josh Allen. Additionally, we can’t forget the significant victory the Ravens had over the Bills when their defense was still struggling. While Josh Allen performed well, Lamar Jackson outperformed him. The Bills have had a relatively easier schedule, and the playoffs will reveal the bias that has been shown. Lamar has improved every year.
The funny (not ha-ha funny) thing about Rex commenting on Lamar is this: Rex didn't get the HC job because he didn't fit Bisciotti's corporate image. Now comes Lamar, who clearly doesn't fit the NFL (run by bookies) image. So instead of Rex supporting a player who is being discriminated against like he was, he negs him. I used to feel kind of bad that Rex didn't get the HC job for the Ravens. Not any more.

The fact that this a debate make me want to throw up
It might be karma for giving the mvp to Lamar last year when it should have gone to hill or mcaffery. Lamar this year deserves mvp 100%, but he didn’t last year. It’s a qb award which is just sad. Either way, Lamar doesn’t care about the mvp.
Lamar vs 10 Playoff Teams
Josh vs 5 Playoff Teams
Lamar in his division had another MVP candidate Joe Burrow & almost 3 teams in the Playoffs. Lamar beaten the brakes off Josh so bad he didn’t finish the game 35-10. Lamar numbers are better. Make it make sense.

Josh literally sat out 4th quarters and a whole game due to a better record and dominance in games. Stats are skewed. Lamar harder schedule? Yeah Baltimore won at home against Buffalo, but Buffalo beat the two #1 teams in the NFL, something Baltimore could not do. Josh also didn't have a near 2000 rushing RB or the pro bowlers that Lamar has been blessed to play with. There's your logic buddy.

“Nobody does this except Josh Allen.” L has literally done the same thing at least three times this season.
All I know is they always leave the best arguments out for Lamar, but are on top of there game when talking about Josh.
Bills were on #21 Strength of Schedule. Allen sat out 11 quarters but still had far inferior averages to Lamar who was 1st in YPA and YPC - goat dual threat QB type of business. Ravens had #4 SoS. Bills are 3-3 against winning teams, 2-3 against playoff teams. Ravens are 9-3 against winning team, 7-3 againt playoff teams. AFC North VS AFC East. 41 pasing TDs, only 4 INT, and a passer rating of 119 (#4 all time) - Lamar was clearly in a league of his own this season. Jayden Daniels is MVP.
Kinda strange that JARED GOFF is getting absolutely NO LOVE what so ever from the media for MVP. Goff has more passing yards this yr than Lamar or Josh. Has a higher completion % and a better team record than those guys as well. Am I missing something?
Lol i like how Rex is like its not even close but it is
"Allen has done more with less" Am I missing something?
And also 2 things:
@PhillyBoy1234 they ravens have 2 offense AP bro and the 1 is a FULLBACK
@ Derrick Henry is 2nd team all pro. 3 on offense 3 on defense.
Ryan isn’t just arguing passionately for a case he believes in, he’s downright lying:
“Bills have 3 more wins”
- yeah, sure.
“Josh Allen’s attempts to turnover ratio is unheard of and the best in the history of the league.”
- It’s not even better than 2024 Lamar.
2018 Aaron Rodgers with 597 pass + 43 rush + 2 INTs + 3 Fumbles lost = 640/5 = 128:1…
- Mahomes in 2020 with 588 pass + 62 rush + 2 FL + 6 INTs = 650/8 = 81.25:1 in attempts/turnover ratio.
Rex must have forgot what happen when Josh came to the bank and caught that blowout L. Lamar ain’t been blown out EVER this year. Josh’s weapons are more than good enough. Stop crying and looking for donations. Your MVP is exactly who it’s supposed to be, Lamar Action Jackson!
Teddy is right, trying to give Josh MVP because it’s his “turn” 😂. Let’s be real if we look at the tape only 1 real MVP this season
why are they making stuff up to prove josh is the mvp😂
If Josh wins I agree it’s about race now
Which is fine with me. They need to be honest and say they want the white boy to win it
@@omeeawakenednope wrong, it’s not about race. Lamar had ok/good stats last year, nowhere near mvp level. CMC or Tyreek should have won it last year, instead of going to a qb by default. This year however, it should be Lamar 100%. Also, the same thing happened to jokic the year he won a ring in 2023. He won two straight mvps and he should have won 3 in a row but they had to give it to embid. Jokic is CLEARLY the better player but they cannot have a white player win 4 straight MVPs in a black dominated league. So no it’s not about race, it’s about narratives. And I think Lamar should win mvp 100%
@ what happened when Lamar faced off against mvp candidates Purdy, CMC, and Hill?? Purdy threw 5 picks, cmc was a no show, and Lamar threw 5 tuds vs Miami. If Lamar didn’t deserve it last year, why was he one vote short of another unanimous mvp?
Allen certainly has not done more.
I really need lamar to win to shut ppl like Rex up
Rex Ryan sounding like a fool
Ravens beat the 🐕💩 out of the Bills 35-10, but I know you guys have convenient amnesia 🙄. When will we ever see a player, not named Lamar Jackson, throw for 4,000 yrds, with 40+ TDs, less than 5 INT, rush for 900yrds, and win their division? NEVER!!! Josh Allen was incredible this season, no doubt about it. But what Lamar has done is HISTORIC, not just another good season.
Bills aint have amari cooper & matt milano . Derek Henry is the mvp of the ravens
@ShinefortheCam let's say that true. STILL, the HISTORIC numbers and the success the Lamar has put up stands out more. And the Ravens had a harder schedule than the Bills. Josh Allen might get the "atta boy" MVP, the he "deserves it" MVP, the "it's his time" MVP. BUT LAMAR DEMEATRICE JACKSON JR. will win the NFL MVP, the only mvp that matters.
I’d be surprised if Lamar doesn’t win MVP after getting All-Pro
Give Lamar Jackson his MVP3
Allen has done more? Strength of schedule Allen has had one of the easiest schedules of all QBs. By that comparison ravens had the 2nd hardest schedule. Take that factor in. Lamar leads Allen in all stats. Playing harder teams
All this caping for Josh is sickening. Just straight up lying. Even if you don’t count the last game it’s still just 2 more wins, not 3. Lying on national tv so hard cause you so bad if Lamar win another mvp
If Lamar doesn’t win MVP it’s ANOTHER insult to black qb’s. And as a fan I am DONE supporting the NFL.
always making it about race - maybe you’re the racist one
Was it an insult last year when a black guy won it? That's just dumb
@ I’m talking about Lamar Jackson not anyone else. Who most in the NFL tried to get to change positions. The NFL has a history of being racist with black QBs. Just ask Warren moon, Tony dungy, and I could go on. The only thing dumb is your comment.. you should think and do proper research before your greasy fingers start typing nonsense… sit yo azz down idiot
Classic defense mechanism: cry racism. Everything is not about race, Jesus.
This is getting cartoonish. Which is perfect for Rex Ryan. Lamar is 7-3 against teams that made the playoffs this season Allen is 2-3. He got pulled from the Ravens game because they were getting humiliated.
Lamar plays in a division where 3 teams finished over .500
Allen’s division had 1. Allen did less with less. Lamar’s stats are superior to Allen’s against tougher competition. Lamar is the MVP
3 more wins? Ok made me go look at the records. Buffalo is 13-4. Baltimore is 12-5. I’m sure one game difference can’t hurt the MVP vote that much right?
Pathetic argument from these “experts” it’s Lamar and it’s not close.
@Cheatingscoobydoo What do you know, you're one of the insufferable ones. Never could have imagined that 🫵😂
Rexx Ryan just said by the number of attempts Josh Allen doesn’t turn the ball over but since entering the NFL he leads all QBs in interceptions. What is he even saying at this point do these people even do their homework?
They always say the ravens have the best roster and it’s simply not true…. Say is not a top ten WR but he’s a pro bowler because of VOTING
Lamar’s about to win his 3rd MVP before his 3rd playoff win 😂😂😂.
The funny (not ha-ha funny) thing about Rex commenting on Lamar is this:
Rex didn't get the HC job because he didn't fit Bisciotti's corporate image. Now comes Lamar, who clearly doesn't fit the NFL (run by bookies) image. So instead of Rex supporting a player who is being discriminated against like he was, he negs him. I used to feel kind of bad that Rex didn't get the HC job for the Ravens. Not any more.
Josh allen does plays we have literally seen before. Lamar is just special
People forget that Lamar’s team had an atrocious defense for 2/3 of the regular season which is why they have ONE less win. Not to mention their division is much more competitive than the Bills and they played far more playoff teams
That first play isn’t even a top 10 Lama highlight this year
