Seeing this now, after the year of the pandemic, reminds me of how much I appreciate you and your tutorials. I made this particular one, along with all of the other ones you produced and keep them in a special box to remember how I survived staying home. You were and are a God-send to create this for all of us who enjoy the art of stitching.
Yes I’m so blessed by you . God bless you Ann , you are so good for me . Please stay safe . Thank you again for helping me . Your work is amazing. And your Ideas are fun . I look forward to you every day. May each and every day be special. Always in my 🙏s.
Love your tin fetish. I love tins too and have tins within tins as well. Love the idea of pieces of quilts going on. Small pieces can be enough. TFS. Social distancing and staying away from everything, cleaning etc for as long as possible is critical to get infection rates down, hard yakka actually.
What a lovely idea. I'am making a quilt now with a facebook group, the twelve days of Christmas. Every week one block to applique. I love it. And now you have also 12 pages of christmas. I will look for a tin, must have one somewhere. I have lots of boxes, tins ect. Filled with buttons, needles, yarn ...you name and I have it. My treasure.chest, no gold, silver or money inside, but lots of things, other people throw away. All things you can use to make something beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Be safe and good luck with the lockdown..
I simply cannot wait until you start giving the ideas for the 12 pages of Xmas ! Love the concept of a miniature project , as on of my many hobbies is decorating dollhouses ! I am so excited to start this project , as I am a quilter etc.
Hi Anne, this is a great idea to keep us busy, I live in a small village called Govilon here in South Wales. I have a passion for tins too. I do have some lovely pieces of quilting and calico, I can't wait to see what your going to make. Thank you, Lita 😍
Oh there seems to be a number of us obsessed with tins. I have one that I am excited to start work on. We are at level 1 here in New Zealand, and hopefully do not return to full lockdown. Next week we have rain in the forecast, which will drive me indoors (I spend alot of time outdoors gardening). A perfect time to start on your project. I am so looking forward to moving along with (or behind) you. Take care, stay safe, as we say here in NZ.
It makes my heart so happy to hear that you are doing another project and it is Christmas related!!!! It's my favorite time of the year and I wanted to do some slow stitching and wanted inspiration from you. I'm so excited, grateful, and so so happy!!!! Thankk you.
Praying your leg pain eases off. This is a delightful project. When you do the community video everyone will be able to see tins from all over the world along with their mini slow stitching book!! So excited💕🐬hugs
Thanks for this Anne. I’m a Yorkshire girl who lives in Nova Scotia and we only have a handful of cases, so I’m very lucky. I’m still working on my book but I have a tin, so this is another great project xx
Hi Ann, I’m so excited about this little project as I missed the book project and this little one will be a positive and beautiful way to end a very difficult year!!! Thankyou for coming up with this ❤️😊🍄
I’m just doing the cover on my book then I’ll be ready for the next project. Thank you Anne, and I hope you are feeling better. All good here re Covid in 🇳🇿 New Zealand.
OMGoodness I’m so excited about this new project. So sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. It’s ok when you aren’t 100% to rest your mind and body guilt free. Something most all of us find hard to accomplish. I feel I should always be accomplishing something. This rest has given you fresh ideas for a new project and you’ve selflessly shared with us. Thank you once again. Maybe this will get many of us in a Christmas mood. 🎄 🎅
Thanks Anne for all you wonderful inspiration. I’m intend to finish my sew4thesoul book today ( I’ll post the completed book on instagram when finished). I also love vintage tins so off to search for the ideal one for this new project. thanks once again for keeping us all motivated.
Sciatica is horrendous! I really sympathise, been there. Love the idea of something for this new lockdown which was inevitable. Hope you get better soon. 😊💕🌷
So happy to start this small project with you!! I just found you on You Tube but don’t have the time yet for the big book. Excited that you’ve decided to do this smaller one! 👏🏻👏🏻
This looks like a great project. I have many little vintage quilt pieces. Here in The States they are called cutter quilts which are from once beautiful quilts that have outlived their useful life and are repurposed for other things. Many can be found on Etsy and eBay. Thanks for giving me another reason to use some!

I’m SO excited! I love the idea of a small book. I just recovered from my first ever bout with sciatica and I sympathize with you! No fun at all. When you’re hurting so bad you don’t feel like stitching, it’s got to be bad. ❤️ I guess your artistic brain kept working and we’re the beneficiaries of that. Please go easy on yourself so you don’t relapse. Hugs to you xxx
Anne this is so sweet. Love this idea. I’m still trying to finish my book. But I’m gonna absolutely do this one too Hope all is well. We’re doing well in South Texas on the Gulf Coast. TFS-Rebecca

This will be fun. I am in south central Texas. FYI, I just checked the hashtag intending to follow. I see this message: "Recent posts from all hashtages are temporarily hidden to help prevent the spread of possible false information and harmful content related to the election." I am wondering if this is just in the United States?
