I’m confident and I’m not even the Chiefs fan, but they will figure it out and they are still undefeated on the season.

When you aren't playing well and everyone knows it, and you are undefeated, that is a very enviable position to be in. They are better now than they were last season early, yet they still won the SB. A lot of key players are down with injuries and the Chiefs still find a way to win.

“That’s how things work in the Patrick Mahomes era”, no it’s not, this is Stephen A projecting last season onto Mahomes whole career. Mahomes was good from week 1 through to the last week from 2018-2022, there was no “saving it for the playoffs”. He won 2 SBs & 2 MVPs in that period,l (including 1 of each in the same year!), there’s no reason he’d have some mindset change now.
He’s just not playing as well anymore, some of that is because he doesn’t need too due to the great defence he has now but some of that is also just him. Luckily for the Chiefs, this potential decline has not affected his postseason play, yet.

The truth of the matter is it's all about timing. Clearly the Chiefs were trying to go back to the old Tyreek Hill offense when they found out they were going to have Hollywood Brown and Worthy. And what I'm guessing is when Hollywood got hurt and now with Pacheco they are more than ever trying to go back to the offense that won them the last two super bowls. The problem is ... Now you have worthy at the two which he was meant to be more of the three, so he's trying to learn two different receivers sets of routes. And the timing is just off where it puts everybody
as long as the refs are playing for the Chiefs, it seems they will be fine, the Refs carried them last years for about 5 games, and this is no different this year seems like it.

The Chiefs used to be the most exciting team in football but they're just boring to watch now. They're still really good obviously but man I'm not excited to watch another primetime game of WR screens and 5 yard slants.
